Thanks for the list. It appears that in his 4th season at Iowa State, McCarney lost to a 1st year head coach Dennis Franchoine at TCU. Didn't he also lose to Texas Tech, the same Texas Tech team that UNT beat under Darrel Dickey?

Missing in this discussion is how absolutley awful Ben Knox was last night. He just doesn't get it. I would like to see Edwards get some more minutes. I like his intensity on the floor.

In case you didn't already know, McCarney's conference record while at Iowa State was 26 - 67. McCarney's teams didn't just lose, they lost Big.

Your talking about the same university that is about to hire a head coach with a career record of 56 wins and 85 losses. Are you surprised?

I wonder if any another coach who is 30 games under .500 has ever been given another head coaching job at the Div 1 level? His last season at Iowa State he was 1-7 in conference play. His most conference wins in 12 seasons at Iowa St was 5. He won 0 league games in 2003. Incredible that UNT is unable to find even a head coach that is at least medicore. Get ready for some bland football 56 -85

The concession issue is a huge problem. There are only two concession stands serving the entire Pit. I would like to hear from RV on ways he will improve the situation. I know a lot of people that decided not to get anything because it was to much of a hassle. A great atmosphere in the Pit last night... please fix the concession problem.

Isn't it about time that UNT officials found somewhere else for Brett Vito to sit? I am referring to the five or six press rows at center court that usually are not used. This is a prime location that we currently are losing revenue from because we cannot sell seats there. I can't think of another arena anywhere that would give up prime seating like this. It always makes the crowd less imitating and quieter because we have our center court with no fans sitting there. Move the print press to another location in the arena and put the radio or tv announcers on the floor. Sell these seats and bring in revenue we desperately need to upgrade the image of the Pit.

Ever hear of Ray Rice, Javid Best, Marion Barber, Danny Woodhead etc... Tre is bigger than all of these guys who currently play in the NFL. Where do you come up with your stuff?

Vito can't give his opinion on a list of potential candidates because he has no idea who they are. Does anyone really think that any of the candidates that fans want to be considered for the job would not have beaten Western Kentucky or a terrible MTSU team? This all goes back to last season when RV should have fired Dodge. The Sun Belt is just plain awful this year and the lack of a new head coach to start the 2010 season probably cost UNT a conference championship. I could throw darts at a board and find someone to win in the Sun Belt but for some reason it is so very difficult for RV.

Jones is only in his 3rd season. He is 13 - 10 the last two seasons. Please get facts straight if you are going to use them in a debate.

Some of the UNT players put together a new rap song called "Lock the Gate" that was played before the game. Sounded pretty good.

What an emotional wreck this team is. They celebrated like they won the national championship after beating FAU and then played pickaboo the next week. Seeing some of these locker room scenes shows a whole lot of insight as to why they team is so inconsistent every week.
