I was as excited as anyone about this hire, but I'll be the first to admit I NEVER thought we'd see this kind of activity this quickly. It really hits you what a refreshing attitude can accomplish. Whereas the other staff moaned about what they had to work with, Dodge and staff promote what they have to work with and now we are seeing the fruits of that attitude already!

I see that RM jr has left La Tech and will be playing jr college ball this year. I wonder if we might get another shot at this kid in a year. Anyone know what his sitation is and why he left Tech. Grades? New coaching staff, etc...?

I've never had any trouble parking over there....but then again it was an SMU game so I didn't really have to contend with any kind of crowd. Once you get there you have to admit they have a pretty nice "tailgaiting" setup on the boulevard.

2) RV mentioned the stadium......and mentioned a time frame of 16 months. Not sure how he phrased, but it made me and others feel that he meant that the stadium would be built in 16 months. I don't want to start anything on here, because it was kind of vague. He didn't say that we would definitely have a stadium in 16 months. I guess I'm kind of being vague....all I'll say is: RV mentioned stadium and 16 months. What that means....I'm not totally sure. My early nomination for "Post of the Year".

Now how many kids will read this in the paper, internet, etc.... and start thinking that maybe NT is no longer a "2nd choice" school when it comes to deciding where to play college football? The buzz about our school in DFW is continuing to grow. Heck, I got an e-mail from someone in Atlanta this morning about this commit.

Louisiana Tech would have the option to remain a member of the WAC or move into MTSU's spot in the Sun Belt where Tech would enjoy in state rivalries with Louisiana Lafayette and Louisiana Monroe. Yeah I'm sure that would be very enjoyable to them.

He was either great or terrible while on the court...there was no in between with this guy. Made it fun to watch but someone that sits near me at the pit used to say "here comes the circus" whenever he checked into a game and I think that came as close to describing his game as anything. That being said, I hope he does well up there in PA.

Why else do you think he was so anxious to go there instead of sitting out and getting healthy while cashing NT's check this year? Also, anyone hear where Flanigan ended up?

Congrats! Our little girl just hit the 18 month mark and it has been without a doubt the best year and a half of my life. Enjoy it.

With the wind I remember a few getting to the end zone. One was muffed at about the 2 and then run out of the endzone back to near midfield. Against the wind he was getting it to the 25-30 yard line, but it was a rather brisk wind. I thought he looked fine.

I've been to regular games that didn't have this many people. A lot to be excited about with this team. Fentriss looked great, too bad he has to sit out next year.
