I admit I'm always a bit amused when the staff checks my tickets when there are maybe 1500 people in a 10K arena, but if that's their gig God bless 'em I guess. I also find it kind of strange that they guard those sections like they are gold, however anyone can enter through the tunnel that leads to the floor. I've never been stopped coming through those doors or walking into the arena from there.

If this thing DOES get taped let me know. My company does duplication and I would be more than willing to cut my mean green brethren a family deal.

Anytime you see that the ref with the caesar cut is doing the game you know you are in for a wild ride. He has to be the most inconsistent ref I have ever seen call a game. You get mauled and no call, then he whistles you for a touch foul 5 minutes later. Makes no sense. By the way, was I the only one that thought Bambi for FIU was more than a little "touched in the head" shall we say?

I have to agree about the student support there last night. They were great!!! Now if we could get all of you there to bring 5 more of your friends......... Seriously, they were into it more than I ever remember. The boink boink boink pass stuff was hilarious.

The thing I most admired about CD was the fact he never seemed arrogant on the court or talked a lot of trash like that thug at NMSU Chris Jackson and many others that have some through the SuperPit. And, we had some moments where it looked like we were getting back into the game. Injuries have taken their tole...but, JJ will bring the boys back! Good point about the faith in JJ. I was thinking about this and I'm curious to read the responses. If this was football, chances are we all would be upset and again calling for the coaches head. Does the lack of venom posted toward the b-ball program come from a) what we saw last year on the floor the lesson learned from being "patient" with the football situation or c) the injury situation played a huge role this year and thats why no one is that upset? Disappointed sure but not really going crazy. Don't misread this, I am a big JJ supporter, I just like the way everyone is just going about their business here and looking forward to the future of the program.
