Posted this on the recruting forum but it probably belongs here instead. Arkansas Business Journal is reporting that Guz Malzahn is leaving Arkansas to be OC at Tulsa. Guess the rumors of the rift in the staff at UA turned out to be true.

I'm not concerned at all about having a staff of high school coaches. We've had a staff of nothing but college experienced coaches for the last 10 years and what did we get? 3 winning seasons and a change from green to black jerseys! Who's to say this will or will not be successful?

I got this a couple of years ago and it never leaves the table next to my recliner during football season!

I've got XM and absolutely love it. I always thought it was kind of dumb to pay to listen to the radio, but after having it for a year I am hooked.

Fisher seems to be one of the finalist for the La Tech job. They are rumored to be offering $600K/year. I find that number to be a little hard to believe but they have James Davison writing checks to them and I doubt he would blink. Has there been a job open this year that Fisher HASN'T been mentioned as a candidate for?

I noticed they raised ticket prices and the minimum donation level to sit in section E. I'm ready to write that check right now, couldn't have said that a month ago! I'm sure I'm not the only one and can you imagine how many first time season ticket holders we are going to have?

At this point who cares how he coaches, I was just glad he didn't moan and complain that he was now in one of the toughest situations of any Div 1 team in the country! What a breath of fresh air this is going to be

Tech will be fine. The pres seems to be committed to doing what it takes to increase the coaches salaries and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see that they actually paid more for their coach than we did. I'm thrilled to death that Dodge is our new coach and I think it's a great hire. I'm sure in a few days Tech fans will feel the same way about whomever is chosen to lead the dawgs.

When is the last time we've had to worry about letting a 3 or 4 star QB get away? Besides, how effective could these coaches be anyway? Miami and Alabama were interested but DD decided they had some of the toughest circumstances of any school in the country (they want to win) and declined the offers. Last report is he is opening a booth in Canton to sell some really cool black jerseys.

Did you see these folks on channel 8 last night? Oh my. Had maybe 15-20 people march to the president's office and the guy leading the crusade seemed like a complete nutjob. Good luck with all that.

Drove to Irving from Corinth. Pretty much did 55-60 the entire way, no one was on the road. Mainly wet, bridges didn't seem to be too bad at that point. Time was 7:30 ish
