What have is a team that lost to a D2 school and only led Lamar by 6 at the half. Let's face it guys. We're disapponted in the team, Imagine how they feel? I guarantee none of them are happy being 1-2. I'm not ready to ship the team out.

If a scholarship player is just not good enough, that's the coaching staffs fault that recruited him. Some people are not FBS caliber players. They might be great kids, but not be FBS players. Do not renew their scholarship. If they are lazy and don't work hard in practice. That is the current coaching staffs fault that they are still on the team. Leave them on scholly for the year, but do not let their lazy habits wear on the remander of the team.

During my time at NT during the Corky Nelson and Dennis Parker years, The football team was at every Homecoming bonfire I attended (covered), heck Scott Davis even spoke one year. Imagine that the starting quarterback speaking at a football spirit ralley. Boggles the mind why they would take time out to give the fans their time.
