  1. I agree, Double D deserves a big Thank You for this win.
  2. Don't worry, they won't be this week. Heck they might even crack the bottom 10. Don't get carried away. OU has still got a lot of talent.
  3. I'd rather be lucky than the "most accurate QB in the SunBelt (Clint Marks). He is accurate all three of those interceptions were right in the NT defensive players hand's. And the two fumbles were not caused by hard hits. I agree we were lucky they missed those two field goals, but our defense caused those 5 turnovers.
  4. MUTS preview of our defense Numerous factual errors. But what do you expect, it's the MUTS!
  5. Joey, Thanks for sharing your story. I cannot imagine the devestation you saw. Glad to hear people were still in good spirits.
  6. Spoke with Gabe Kirkpatrick at the UNT ticket office (1-800-UNT-2366 or 940-565-2527) and asked if they were doing any reduced price or free tickets for hurricane victims to the home opener. He said it was going to be discussed next week when they return from MTSU. I said put me down for 2 tickets to be donated to the cause. If we have enough people call and donate tickets, it takes it out of the bureaucrats hands and just makes tickets available to give hurricane victims a good time and a chance to get away from thinking about what is going on. Give Gabe a call (1-800-UNT-2366 or 940-565-2527) and lets get this going.
  7. Time to Rock 'em Brock!! Make the Muts pay for not doing their homework on you!
  8. The North Texas rushin game is better than Alabama's. You said tell you.
  9. Joey, How was your trip to Louisiana. Glad you made it back safe.
  10. Twodogs, did you get a ride?
  11. The heck with January. Can he play Football Right now?
  12. It is also available on ESPN GamePlan, so you cab watch it. Just subscribe to GamePlan.
  13. I hope ASU donates at least half the gate to the hurricane relief. They were not expecting anything for this game. Just need to cover expenses and send the rest to charity.
  14. I would have paid to see this, just thinking about it has me LOL!!
  15. For those fans, like me, who need directions to Hulen Mall.
  16. I would open the game with a fake to PC/JT and a long pass over the middle to Zach Muzzy. If it works, it would be six and if it doesn't work, it would still loosen up the defense for the running game. The reason I chose Muzzy is he will be the most overlooked player on the field. They will cover both Joel Nwigwe and JQ, as well as PC/JT. They would not expect a pass, especially to Zach "The Secret Weapon" Muzzy. If he beats his man, which he will do, it's a stroll to the endzone. The key is stopping them on their first 2 possessions. If we stop them twice, with our inexperienced defense then, not only, will they begin to question themselves, but our D will gain confidence.
  17. UNOPrivatr My heart goes out to you and the others hit by Katrina's destruction. I have a friend, whose cousins had to sneak out of New Orleans Friday because they locked down the Super Dome. They hitch hiked to Bossier City and called my friend's brother, who lives in Shreveport, to come get them. He drove them to the Metroplex. Two hours after their arrival they were still eating. They had received no food or water since Tuesday in the Super Dome. They told of rapes and murder and having to move a dead body just to move to an aisle so they could get outside. I believe that all of the branches of government (Local, State & National) all dropped the ball. None of this was fair, but that is in the past. We need to go on with humanitarian relief from here on out. You and all of the other survivors & victims of the hurricane have been in my prayers since before Katrina did her damage. God Bless you & your family. God Bless the Golf Coast. God Bless America.
  18. We were the Good Samaritans early in the year. Giving ASU a big pay day against Army. I think UL-La. will bend over backward to help NT. We have a pretty good relationship with the Rajun’ Cajuns. But the people in Northeast Louisiana (UL-M) don’t like us very much. It goes back to the I-AA days in the Southland Conference. I don’t expect UL-M to do anything to help out NT. Wright Waters might need to step in and remind them that what’s good for NT (the big dog) is good for the Sun Belt.
  19. Gee what a great father you'll be. This is meant tounge in cheek (notice the 3 winks & 2 LOL)
  20. He "might" get signed to the practice squad. Just to keep Kenoy happy! If not the Despardos can always use a good OL/DL lineman or a FB/LB.
  21. Mean'n'Green07 let me welcome you as a new fan. Now, it's fans like you described, who are the problem. They care more about seeing the opponent than about seeing their team. I realize that you are talking about people who are just coming to see a football game from Arlington (or anywhere outside of Denton). But it inexcusable for a student not coming to a game because of who the opponent is. This is their team and their university. Now it cost $50 to go home to Arlington for the weekend. Stay in Denton and come to the football games. Mean'n'Green07 you and your classmates are the future of North Texas, do not let us down. Support the Mean Green!
  22. Soonerfans.com has shut down registrations to post on there message board. I guess there are a bunch of people who want to send condolences on the TCU game.
