  1. For it not being used, there are a lot of people walking in and out of the room during the games.
  2. Roy Covington was recruited two years ago. We can than Ramon Flanigan, who was to busy interviewing for head coaching jobs, for having No DISD recruits in this last class. Also his interviewing kept him from preparing for Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl.
  3. I think Ericc Peagram still wants to get into coaching.
  4. Wasn't he also the OL coach at Army, when it had the 0-11 record and the worst offense in the nation? Is he trying to get a repeat performance from this year's NT line?
  5. SIG, I did not call you a MORON, I called your statement MORONIC. My point is there are lot more important things going on in the world than worrying about a program that is going to be 2-2 after it's next game. I agree don't accept medicority, but until YOU (all MEAN GREEN Fans) are ready to open their pocketbooks, bitching only makes you feel better.
  6. Could he be talking about the man who promised to raise $95 million in five years when he took over as athletic director?
  7. It's NOT that he went to SMU that bothers me. It's that he's a pompous Know-it-all, that truly doesn't know anything that bothers me about Craig James.
  8. For anyone that is reading this board that is not from North Texas you will have to forgive some on here for making MORONIC statments like the one listed above over a 1-2 football team.
  9. Here is a break down of the 14 listed seniors. 32 Hopovac, Denis PK 5-10 181 Sr. Dallas, TX (W.T. White HS) -- Kicks off, can be easily replaced. 42 Thompson, Travis LB 6-2 225 Sr. (NE Oklahoma A&M) -- according to his mother, who post on here, he is a junior. But has seen limited playing time, and has not contributed to the failure or success as of yet. 46 Early, Shawn LB 6-0 215 Sr. Jacksonville, FL (Ribault HS) -- Red shirting, should return as a starter next season. 66 Lineberry, Dylan OL 6-3 310 Sr. Houston, TX (North Shore HS) -- If he graduates, will receive an additional year of eligibility. If he doesn’t take care of school work, will be hard to replace. 8 Covington, TaRon DB 6-2 190 Sr. Coffeyville, KS (Coffeyville JC) -- Starting Corner, who talks way to much trash. Will be hard to replace. 52 Miller, Chris DT 6-1 270 Sr. Stillwater, OK (Stillwater HS) -- Has been one of most consistent DL players. Will be missed. 98 Hutchinson, Eli DE 6-4 240 Sr. Oklahoma City, OK (NE Oklahoma A&M) -- Starting DE, but has been largely ineffective this season. Can easily be replaced by someone already on team. 34 Branch, Ja'Mel DB 5-7 171 Sr. Katy, TX (Katy HS) -- Starting Corner, who needs to be a senior leader. Will be missed, but can be replaced. 64 May, Jason OL 6-4 295 Sr. Graham, TX (Graham HS) -- Starting OL, will be missed, but can be replaced. 29 Bazaldua, Nick PK 5-10 171 Sr. DeSoto, TX (DeSoto HS) -- One of top five players on team. Will be the hardest to replace. 68 Patterson, Ephraim OL 6-3 280 Sr. Crosby, TX (Crosby HS) -- Backup OL, played in one game. Can easily be replaced. 43 Cobbs, Patrick RB 5-9 205 Sr. Tecumseh, OK (Tecumseh HS) -- Star of the team, holds NT all-time rushing record, top player in Sun Belt conference. Hard to replace, but JaMo will do it. 77 Vanderslice, Robbie OL 6-4 265 Sr. The Colony, TX (The Colony HS) -- Good backup on OL, can be replaced. 26 Starks, Cass DB 6-1 205 Sr. Denton, TX (Ryan HS) -- Reserve DB, who has not played a snap this year. Easily replaced. 3 should return if things go right (Thompson, Early & Lineberry). 2 have played little or not at all (Patterson, Starks). 2 future NT Hall of Famer (Cobbs, Bazaldua). Eight are starters. But that is out of 24 positions, including punter and place kicker,
  10. Have You looked at the MTSU, OSU, SMU or OU boards? You'll see what excuse are all about!!!
  11. Join the Mean Green Club or double or triple your donation. Progress cost money!!!
  12. Opinions are like Butt-holes, everybody's got one and the other guy's smells like $hit!! Redskins 14 Cowboys 13
  13. Thank the Lord! Good luck on getting an Exes officer to call you back.
  14. I voted Yes. But I'm not unhappy running the ball (if it's for positive yards) Offense puts asses in the seats, but DEFENSE wins championships! Right now, I'd settle for a change in defensive philosophy.
  15. Because most of the students & alums don't care about football. The students care more about getting high and bitching about why they aren't attending UT, A&M or OU. Some alums are more concerned about how the business department (or the department they were in) is doing, rather than the athletic department, which is the window to the University. NT garners more publicity from a Tuesday night football game against Troy than it does from winning numerous departmental awards for being the tops in the field.
  16. Those crappy sbc championships have sent us to the NO Bowl four times. What has winning a normal OOC game done for the program? By the way, what is a normal ooc game?
  17. Boxscore & Official Stats from K-State website It's not pretty, but you already knew that!
  18. What night would be convenient for you Rudy? National Television is a hard thing to come by, on any day of the week. Be glad OUR University is playing on ESPN2!
  19. Unless you were in the class that produced Kennedy, Spencer or Hall. I believe you are incorrect. What year were you recruited? What years did you play? When did you Graduate (or use up your eligibility)? Where are you coaching now?
  20. Dude, I hate to tell you but a middle of the pack Big 12 team is still a pretty good football team. OU is a top tier Big 12 team and one of the top 25 team's in the nation. And it would surprise me if OU beats K State by more than 10. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't K-State have the nation's leading rusher?
  21. This will require a change in the Athletic Director's position, as well as the head coach. It will be at least 5 years before we win another conference title if we change head coaches at this time. I realize it's the Sun Belt, but if we let DD go, out goes all of the coaches and the system that these players were recruited for. We would owe him close to a million dollars and would still have to hire a coach to take us to the next level. I'm willing to see him go if an alum, other than Mattress Mac, steps forward to buy out the contract. But that's not going to happen because NT has a bunch of alums that don'r give a crap about football. Don't come with that weak ass "I care."
  22. Mendoza hits like a ton of bricks. Unfortunately he also has the speed of a ton of bricks. Derek is a player, no doubt, but we need speed, speed and more speed on the field.
