  1. If numerous means more than one. You're right, we had two (Kassell & Spencer). But according to Dictionary.com Numerous-Amounting to a large number; many. TWO is not a large number.
  2. Why? We haven't won a home game and until Saturday hadn't scored a first half TD. I'll be thrilled if we have 15K for homecoming.
  3. No, Shaft is correct, all banned items or intoxicated fans do not enter the stadium. Any AD that revokes season tickets is slitting his programs throats. Oh wait by banning tortillas, umbrellas, seat cushions, battle flags NT is already cutting its throat. We have a small, but loyal fan base and these rules are making the only reason to go to games is the tailgating, which ends up making intoxicated fans. On second thought, Shaft you are full of it!
  4. But this is North Texas, where very few of the employees of the Athletic Department DO there job. Why should we expect our OC to have any discipline, when the OLine has none!
  5. We signed ZERO recruits from Flannigan's schools last year and I believe only one the year before. Harry, please correct me if I'm wrong.

  7. emmitt corect me if I'm wrong, but Silver could file charges of a making Terroristic Threat against Flannigan. For saying "I'm going to kick your Ass!"
  8. Some CSC head will roll over this. Rick, thanks for the post clearing up the situation.
  9. mrsgreengoblin just look for the Greenbackers tailgate at the pregame festivities, I'm sure someone there will be able to help you with an extra ticket.
  10. I remember the Nov. 19, 1981 Sports Illusrated Cover with Sam Perkins, Doherty, Jimmy Black and James Worthy with Dean Smith and the see through Blackboard. This is one of the GREATEST COVERS ever!!
  11. Isn't that true for the over-matched team each week. Not saying UL is over-matched.
  12. *Attendance If you are talking about football, the team has had more to do with that than RV. I do not believe any other sport has shown a growth in attendance. *Donations What major donations other than Mattress Mac and the donation for the tennis center has RV been in power for. He doesn't get credit for the Mattress Mac donation. Dickey gets that one. I believe he is at least $90 million short of the $95 million he guaranteed he would raise in 5 years. *Compliance I agree NT hasn't been investigated for NCAA violations, but wait I don't remember the last time NT was investigated for NCAA violations. *Facility improvements You've got me on this one. Eagle Point, the new turf for Fouts and the purchase of Liberty Christian are all under RV's watch. My question is with NT's rededication to athletics, would it have happened anyway.
  13. Welcome Soonerdon, The two TE set is the most effective set in the DD offense. MeanGreenPop will tell you that throwing the ball to Brown is what the offense is missing. J/K MeanGreenPop. Charley does need to get more involved in the offense, as do all of the receivers.
  14. CFL LB, HIV-positive, in custody Roughrider Smith, HIV-positive, in custody Canadian Press 10/29/2005 2:51:07 PM SURREY, B.C. (CP) - A member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders football team has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a B.C. woman and police revealed Friday he is HIV-positive. Trevis Smith was arrested Friday morning in Regina and is being held under police custody in Surrey, BC. He will make his first court appearance in Surrey on Thursday. RCMP said disclosing an accused criminal's medical status was unusual but felt a public warning about Smith's HIV-positive status was necessary. Police said in a news release that anyone who may have had sexual contact with him and is concerned about exposure to HIV should immediately see their doctor or go to a clinic for testing, as well as contact police in relation to their investigation. RCMP said its Surrey, B.C., detachment received a complaint a few months ago about an alleged sexual assault and after an investigation the Crown approved a charge of one count of aggravated sexual assault. Smith, 29, was arrested on a Canada-wide warrant. He has played on the Regina-based Canadian Football League team for the last seven seasons.
  15. From MeanGreenSports.com Congrats to the MEAN GREEN Soccer team!
  16. Now that's the FFR I know and love. Good to have ya back!!!
  17. We'd be an answer to a Trivia question!
  18. I think we'll go 13-15 including the SBC tournament, where we'll go 1 and done.
  19. NT80 is that Blindfold comfortable.
  20. I can't verify that Coby Ray is the grandson of Bobby Ray. But I can verify that Bobby Ray is helping take football down the tubes, by not allowing some things to happen.
  21. NT is trying to raise money for a stadium and you think it's going to waste money (a minimum of $30,000) for a non-televised game against an opponent no=one cares about. If NT was going to do this, I'd think the LSU game would get us more publicity.
  22. How about free Outback, if they make 90 percent of their free throws. Talk about a safe bet for Outback. JJ's teams are such bad free throw shooters Outback wouldn't even sweat giving away free food.
  23. Scott's HS alma mater, Schertz Clemens, plays District rival San Marcos on Friday. Clemens is undefeated and is ranked NO. 1 in the Great San Antonio Class 5A poll. The Buffaloes are also ranked NO. 10 in the AP Class 5A poll. Good luck to Clemens on Friday and best wishes and congratulations to Scott and the rest of the Hall family.
