  1. NT needs to apply for a medical redshirt for Graves. He is too good of a player to go out with a season like this, when he can comeback when the team could be better.
  2. Where Are they? You're dreaming! If you think the NT Alumni will pony up a buyout, you're dreaming. NO ONE involved with this university, sans a few will donate to this athletic department and a fund to get rid of DD & RF.
  3. He walked right by me at the Mean Green March. He did not look unhealthy, just unmotivated. He looked like he didn't care what the outcome of the game was going to be, one way or the other. DD is just picking up a paycheck. Please reassign him to a job where he can't do any more damage to the football program.
  4. Here is the Jets PR department's contact information.
  5. So we're going to give a new coach $100K more than Dickey is making Plus incentives. I'm all for it if wins follow. My question is how many more on this board are going to increase their donations to the Mean Green Club and those who are members need to join at $1,000 per year and turn down all of the incentives, so it will save the department money. Until EVERYONE on this board and a few thousand more are Mean Green Club members then NT is going to have a coach like Darrel Dickey, who I think is a good coach at the wrong school. The athletic department needs leadership that can raise money so NT can get the coaching it deserves, in all sports.
  6. UT-ex Simms hospitalized after Bucs' loss 07:56 PM CDT on Sunday, September 24, 2006 Associated Press TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Bay quarterback Chris Simms had his spleen removed after taking several hard hits in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Carolina Panthers and was resting comfortably in a hospital, according to a television report. Simms had a blood transfusion as part of his treatment and was expected to be hospitalized for several days, Peter King said during a break on NBC's Sunday Night Football, citing a conversation he had with Simms' mother, Diana Simms. King, a reporter for Sports Illustrated, also said the quarterback did not appear to be in any imminent danger. Team spokesman Jeff Kamis confirmed that Simms, who left the game briefly but returned, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, a few blocks from Raymond James Stadium. Kamis declined to comment on the quarterback's condition or the nature of his injury. Coach Jon Gruden said during his postgame press conference that Simms hurt his ribs early in the game and was also battling dehydration. "He is hurting right now, there is no question," Gruden said. "He left the game. I don't know that it was because of his ribs, dehydration or both." Simms was replaced by rookie Bruce Gradkowski for the last play of the third quarter and first play of the fourth. He went to the ground on one knee before leaving the field and walking to the locker room on his own power. The Bucs punted two plays later, and Simms returned to the game when Tampa Bay got the ball back. He led a fourth-quarter field goal drive that gave the Bucs a 24-23 lead, but the defense couldn't hold. When he left the game, the team announced he was cramping. The 26-year-old finished the game, which Carolina won on John Kasay's 46-yard field goal with 2 seconds remaining, and left the field with his teammates on his own power. Simms completed 13 of 24 passes for 139 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He was sacked once and also took a hard hit when he scored on a 2-yard run that gave Tampa Bay a 21-20 lead in the third quarter.
  7. Then the whole state woulkd have to pay for his poor coaching, because he'd be on welfare and food stamps.
  8. What an educated post.
  9. It's time to $h!t or get of the pot.
  10. You need to quit drinking the green KOOL-AID!!!! 5 teams give up more than 40 points. The conference won only 1 game, against a 1-AA team. SUNBELT SCORES NC A&T 7 La.-Lafayette 48 FIU 10 Maryland 14 MTSU 0 Okla. 59 ASU 9 SMU 55 NT 13 Akron 22 FAU 6 S. Car. 45 Troy 0 Nebraska 56
  11. RESULTS? We're 1-3 and have given up an average of 5.5 yards per play run. THAT SUCKS! The defense is ranked 77 out of 119 teams. The 119 ranked defense, Stanford, gives up 6.35 yards per play. A good defense, Georgia Tech, which is ranked 18th, is 3-1 while surrendering 3.79 yards per play. They lost to Notre Dame, beat Samford (1-AA), Troy and Virginia. I believe their schedule has been as tough as ours. Our defense is NOT GOOD against the run (gives up 4.04 per rush—74th) or the pass, 11.18 per pass, also ranked 74th. That’s a first down every time an opponent attempts a pass and a first down every third time they attempt to run the ball. How is that LOOKING UP? Numbers speak louder than words.
  12. 4 games NT has scored a TOTAL of 47 points. NT's defense surrendered 56 points in the first game of the season. Will NT score 56 points in five games? Six games? This season? The Mean Green's offense just plain sucks and the numbers show that the defense isn't much better. Well its MUTS week, this is a victory we can count on. (That's a wink, you know sarcasm)
  13. Why are you figuring they are better than average? They beat two teams they should have and lost to a below average Maryland team. OU 54 MUTS 3 Marks thows three picks, two returnrd for touchdowns. OU is pissed. It's going to stomp a mud hole in MUTS.
  14. Tulsa report w/ photo gallery
  15. Hey NT scored as many points as TECH! When can it say that? Just looking for some humor.
  16. Tulsa 7 NT 3 Half Not bad, considering they average more than 34 points at home over the past 4 years.
  17. SB Green is at work and can't listen. That's why he needs updates.
  18. Tulsa goes for it alot on 4th down, and have made it all but once coming into this game. Kragthorpe is like Leach!
  19. Incomplete going for it on 4 and 6. Ball over on downs at 34.
  20. Stevenson wrecks play with blitz . 2nd-10 at the 38. Run for 4 3-6 at 34.
