Still waiting on some else solution besides firing someone...
I don't think Benford needs to be fired. I think he needs to be reassigned to custodial engineer in the Super Pit. That way we'll make Andrew happy because Benny will still be getting a paycheck and he won't be coaching.

The 2013 UIL State Championships are set! Here's the schedule for next weekend at AT&T Stadium:
10 a.m. Thursday: 1A DI -- Shiner vs. Stamford
1 p.m. Thursday: 1A DII -- Falls City vs. Wellington
5 p.m. Thursday: 2A DI -- Cameron Yoe vs. Wall
8 p.m. Thursday: 2A DII -- Refugio vs. Cisco
12 p.m. Friday: 3A DI -- Carthage vs. Kilgore
4 p.m. Friday: 3A DII -- Fairfield vs. Argyle

Saban has been offered a 10 year 120 million dollar contract from UT. This is coming from my parents CPA who is a big UT alum, but has bigger friends... We'll see if it's true but that's quite a bit of money for a coach

Michigan State. Two great defenses. One Awesome special teams I'd give us a shot. Then the winner of Vandy & Nebraska. We don't stop the run well. Nebraska would roll. Vandy would be intersting.

Who gives a "F"? They are both GREAT players for NT. It's a group of peoples opinion. How many of you broke down every game that a CUSA team played in? I bet the answer is ZERO. How many of you have read the grades for each game of any of the teams? Again, I'll bet the answer is ZERO.
All-Conference honors are nice things to put in a biography, but don't mean shit about how good of a football player you are.

Of course he reads GMG. Brett's a good reporter. Good reporters use every asset that is available to get info. As a police officer, I'm sure you've used or know some one that has used a confidential informant. That's doing the job. Same thing. And he post on this board under his name. Just links to his stories, but I'm sure he reads the other board and all the NT blogs as well.

Why do people think that NT has earned a Big 10, ACC or Big 12 opponent? Hey I'm happy that NT was not among the schools left at home. This fan base does not deserve to go to a Bowl game. Especially one that's in its backyard. This football team deserves a fan base that supports it and does not bitch. Why would you cheer any less for Zach Orr hitting the UNLV QB than if he hit an Iowa QB? Would it excite you more if Brelan Chancelor returns a punt for a TD against Syracuse than against UNLV? Be Happy with the crumpled $100 bill.

There are 91,000 seats in the Cotton Bowl. If you want to go to the game you'll be able to get a ticket. Even if it is on Jan. 1 at 10:45 a.m.
Ordering them now through the Athletic Department helps the school because the tickets go towards the University's allotment. NT should sell its 5,000 allotment before Wednesday. The school should sell double or triple the allotment. If it does not and the school gets looked over by a bowl after it's bowl eligible next time, fans have nobody else to blame but themselves.

Just be sure you eat a HUGE meal before you go in. Food is priced out of this world high at these games. Last year a hot dog and drink was like $11. Popcorn is like $3 for a small bag. Just warning. And Parking is $10.
