  1. "Put on about 20 lbs and came out of nowhere as a senior." I hope this guy pans out, but he sounds like he's on the "JUICE". A little Short? How about a lot fat if the 294 is correct and a lot like a snail in speed.
  2. This thread has no place on an athletic website. Who gives a $HIT about 24. It's a FICTIONAL TV show. You know fiction. Stuff that is not true. I'm not saying that this could not happen, it could. But it is not a Sport, UNT related or not. I respect everyone's opinion on this subject, but it needs to be discussed in a forum designed for this type of subject. Check the CNN board, or boards sponsored by ABC, CBS, Fox nexs, MSNBC or even a 24 message board. Leave this subject alone on this message board.
  3. I think that's just the NBA. Once a college football player declares, I believe he loses his eligibility.
  4. Why was this moved? We are hoping to get some recruits from Rice and Tulsa. Haynes was a recruit, whose Grandad was an NT great. And the last note is about a family emergency in our new HC's familiy. Harry, the chief moderator, had a response and did not move the post. Just wondering why the post was moved.
  5. From Dallasblog.com Minnesota to hire ex-UT assistant/ SMU picks up another local WR/Tom Bean open Look for Tulsa coach Todd Graham to extend his Mesquite and family ties by hiring Tom Bean coach Brent Graham in the football office. Todd's nephew, who also grew up in Mesquite like Todd (North Mesquite grad), likely will be involved in recruiting or football operations. Tom Bean is a 2A school north of Dallas. Minnesota will hire Tim Brewster, a longtime assistant of Mack Brown at Texas (1998-'01) and North Carolina. Brewster has been an assistant coach with the Denver Broncos the last two seasons. SMU adds another Mansfield Summit WR Bradley Haynes (6-2, 195) committed to SMU as the Mustangs continued to bolster their recruiting class. SMU is building a strong offensive class led by Springtown QB Logan Turner. Dodge family emergency Former Austin Westlake head football coach Ebbie Neptune remains in intensive care at an Austin hospital on Monday after suffering a stroke last Friday. Neptune's daughter, Elizabeth, is married to Todd Dodge. Neptune was at Westlake as an assistant coach when it opened in 1969 and coached the Chaps from 1982-86. When Neptune moved off the sideline and into a full-time role as athletic director in 1987, he promoted offensive coordinator Ron Schroeder to head coach. Neptune served as the school's athletic director from 1982-2003. The field at Westlake's Chaparral Stadium is named after Neptune. Westlake has made five state title game appearances.
  6. Woodrow's McCoy commits to TCU over North Texas/ Kragthorpe trying to get Texas guys to Louisville TCU picked up a commit from Woodrow Wilson DB Greg McCoy (5-10, 175), who's visited Iowa and had been a top target of new North Texas coach Todd Dodge. North Texas has added a commitment from Colleyville Heritage WR Evan Walker. New Louisville coach targets Texas Newly named Louisville coach Steve Kragthorpe is going after higher level athletes than he was able to get at Tulsa. Kragthorpe, who worked briefly at Texas A&M as well, hopes for visits from Arkansas LB commit Jermaine Love of North Garland and North Garland WR Hubert Anyiam, who's looking at Nebraska and Oklahoma State.
  7. I don't care who you are (UNLESS YOU'RE A MEMBER OF GRAHAM'S FAMILY), that's FUNNY!!
  8. Great Guy, Great Coach. Only coach I wish had stayed from DD's staff.
  9. Look at the offensive side of the ball. No Rose on the OL. No Fitzgerald at receiver. Where's`Charley Brown at TE. No Glass on the OL. Why Washington at receiver, he had No catches last year. I agree NT need to have the best athletes on the field, but he didn't even have the best kids listed.
  10. Michael Higgins of Richardson makes a 75-foot shot to force overtime against Lake Highlands on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Shot heard around Richardson
  11. This guy is speaking out of his A$$. He has no clue.
  12. How Many pounds (of marijuana)would it take? My guess is a minimum of 2 or 3.
  13. Booty could return Trojans to No. 1 ranking
  14. What is the new abreviation for Coach Todd Dodge. I like Zeke's "Todge."
  15. Those would be great on the Richardson Berkner football board. Just playing smitty, good job. I love your helmet logos, avatars and wallpapers. Have you found a picture to use for a UNT Dancer wallpaper yet?
  16. This is a hypothetical event. Nothing is planned by the Athletic Department. This would be nice to do. But it would need to be a $250 a plate fundraiser.
  17. If you're a Gringo, just pay in U.S. Currency. Not for it, but if you've got pesos and want pizza, you've got to pay for it.
