  1. McNabb has set up Todd Dodge really well. Can't wait until 4:45 p.m.
  2. I'm sure ASU wanted him to grayshirt and he didn't want to. If I were a college coach, I'd be scared of this kid. He's "Damaged goods." A torn labrum is a pretty serious injury and from what I understand it normally takes 18 months to 2 years to heal correctly. I wish Foles well, but he needs to go somewhere that he can heal for 1 or 2 years.
  3. Even though he only got an offer after Martinson went to Texas State. I think B.J. Lewis will be the steal of this class. He's my "Pick to Click"
  4. ESPN still has Taylor Insall listed as a verbal commit, I thought TD didn't offer him a ship. ESPN recruiting
  5. DING, DING, DING!!!! That is the correct answer!!!

  7. ESPNU Channel 609 on Direct TV is having a signing day special. Seven hours, started at 11 a.m.
  8. From Cedar Hill linebacker Chris Francis to New Jersey quarterback Matt Simms, familiar names are continuing a family tradition Wednesday, the first day to sign a national letter of intent to play college football. Francis signed with Baylor, the alma mater of his father James, a former first-round draft pick for the Bengals. Matt is following the quarterbacking footsteps of father Phil and his older brother Chris, who played at Texas. The future of 6-5 freshman Jackson Jeffcoat is bright as well. He was a starting defensive end/linebacker at Class 5A Plano West as a ninth grader this past season, The son of former Arizona State and Dallas Cowboys DE Jim Jeffcoat also is considered one of the nation's top basketball prospects. He'll be part of the Signing Class of 2010. A look at NFL/Coaching Legacies throughout the country. 9. From the signing day blog. 10:09 a.m. Ya know, Hank Dickenson made a good point not long ago that sparked our curiosity. So we checked the feedback data that we get from MeanGreenSports.com and this signing day blog is already the most viewed article ever on a single day for our web site. As of 10 a.m., which is just three hours after we started this blog, we have already had more than 2,500 page views. Now, if everyone that has viewed this web site today would buy season tickets, we will be well on our way to filling up Fouts Field for Coach Dodge’s inaugural season!
  10. Here are some videos of SA Lee. Jesse Desoto is Number 11 in white in all the videos. You have to paste the link and use the enlargement tool to increase the screen size so you can actually watch the video. These are the other team videos. MacArthur vs. Lee Churchill vs. Lee Reagan vs. Lee Another Reagan vs. Lee
  11. It's been almost 30 minutes 8:59 to 9:27 since the last LOI came in. Where is Vizza's letter!!!!!!!
  12. He just visited Michigan State. He's not fast enough to run Dodge's offense. He runs a 4.85.
  13. Not 2007, the Class of 2008. You know Tre's class. Let's compare apples to apples.
  14. http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/sports/16600154.htm Quincy Carter signs with arenafootball2 League team Staff and wire reports BOSSIER CITY, La. - Former Cowboys quarterback Quincy Carter signed with the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings of the arenafootball2 League (af2) Thursday. Carter, whose career has been sidetracked by drug allegations, played four seasons in the NFL, including three with the Cowboys. He started all 16 games in 2003 and led the Cowboys to the playoffs. In 2004, he started three games with the New York Jets. He signed with Montreal of the Canadian Football League last year, but was released one month later in training camp. “It is perfect for my skills. I know quite a few players who have moved from the outdoor game to the AFL and af2, and even more that have moved from arena football to the outdoor game,” Carter said. “I see af2 as a place to begin the process of getting back to the National Football League." The 2007 Wings’ training camp begins in mid-March. The season opener is April 7 at home against the expansion Fort Wayne Fusion.
  15. I'll agree Willis may not be the best guy answering questions about recruiting. But he is the RECRUITING WRITER. Tre is a talented back, but it's difficult to say he's the best in the state. UNT Mean Green, who is your pick for the top RB in the Class of 2008?
  16. If this is the one you're talking about, contact Rick Yates at Rick@rjy.com. He took this picture.
  17. Wills went to Highland Park and Austin Westlake before he went to UT. THree time loser!!
  18. I'm not sure about Slinker, but Vito does a pretty good job, given the circumstances he works under. What is it that he isn't doing that he should be? I know what Slinker isn't doing, WINNING!!!
  19. Could this be why he decommitted. Competion for playing time.
  20. Being a crazy fan is for the YOUNG! That's why we need more students at the games.
  21. Marino did make a Superbowl, only one and he lost to Joe Montana and the 49ers. But that doesn't take away from his greatness. Aikman could not hold Marino's jock.
