Agreed. The defense needs to improve, hell it would be nice if they improved a lot. But rather than raining on some fans parade on the OUTSTANDING offensive numbers that Meager and Fitz put up, give the negative talk a rest at least until Monday. Let the fans enjoy the good things that came out of this loss.

CBL, You are right on target. I don't like to speak ill of anyone, especially when they are representing my university in a game. But you are correct, there is blame to go around for the defensive problems.

Just say who they are Zeke. Most of the NT fans know it's the the starched-shirt wearing, bandana waving "Wings." It's nice to have a group of supporters on the field, but it would be even nicer if the group new when to make noise (an opponents third down) and when to be quiet (an NT third down).

I don't remember, when did you play DB in college. Oh yea, you probably didn't. Neither did I, I didn't play college football and I comment on the play of the team. But you use the word "WE" as if you are a member of the team. I'm just guessing, but I would say you didn't have the athletic ability to play college ball (I know I didn't), but that is why I always attempt to use "NT" rather than "WE." I realize Roman has not had much success this season for NT, but Dodge must see something in the young man or he wouldn't be on the field. Don't blame him, blame Dom Green and others, who haven't shown enough to earn playing time.

The writer is your typical SMU douche bag, who doesn't have the balls to put his name on the story. If you can get through his NT bashing, the information is pretty good. I like that Senior offensive tackle Ben Poynter says "Their front seven is good, but the most impressive guys to me were the defensive tackles. (Starters Montey Stevenson and Isaac Thomas, who combined for three tackles last week in Norman) are really strong.
