Post Spring Depth Charts are nothing more than Water cooler/Internet Message Board material. They are used to fill up media guides and provide team beat writers with a story or two during the off season. They hold about as much weight as a wet paper towel. They are used by coaches to motivate players. They can point to a position and say "You've got the ability to move up to No. 1 on the depth chart, we just haven't seen the effort." Stay calm. I've seen players, not on the post spring depth chart, turn into a starer. Some even turn into award winning players.
