  1. CBL, I to am against the death penalty, except for it in extreme cases. I believe this is a case that justifies death. The post was dripping with sarcasim, but I guess you missed it. Have we evolved as a society? There are more killings in one month in this country than occurred in the lawless days of the wild, wild west in a year. I have no facts to back up this statement, but there were no Murder rates kept in the late 1800s, early 1900s. And I am better than "THESE" women because a allow people their own opinions, even if they are WRONG (as yours are in this case), "THESE" women treated a human being worse than an animal and that is UNFORGIVEABLE in the eyes of my higher being, I don't know about yours.

  3. I believe that to be a college assistant coach a college degree is required. I don't think that RoMo has a degree. He left NT after his junior season to play professionally in Israel. Not sure how long he played in Israel.
  4. I know everyone on this board wants the pit bull breed banned, but I believe I found a use for these animals. These women should be placed in a cage with 5 hungry pit bulls for 30 minutes. If they escape the cage alive, then they should be submerged in a tanks of pirannas for 5 minutes. If they come out of the piranna tank alive, then a vat of acid for 20 minutes. That will take care of these poor excuses for humans and if it doesn't slit their throats slowly.
  5. WTF!! I know Leach is the media coverboy, but is Tech really that good. I don't expect them to finish higher than fourth in the Big 12 South, behind Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M. They might even finish behind Okie State.
  6. Armpit sniffer gets jail and cane SINGAPORE (Reuters) - A Singapore man with a penchant for sniffing women's armpits was sentenced to 14 years in jail and 18 strokes of the cane for molesting his victims, a local newspaper reported Friday. The 36-year-old, who the Straits Times said was mentally unstable, had previous convictions for drug and sex-related offences. He molested 23 women over the course of 15 months, smelling their armpits and touching them in lifts, staircase landings and their homes, the paper said. He was caught after a housewife reported him to the police. The court meted out the jail term, normally reserved for hardcore criminals, saying the man was likely to commit crimes again, the paper reported. Caning on the buttocks is an additional punishment for male criminals in Singapore for offences ranging from vandalism to illegal possession of drugs and rape. 8. K State was a medicore team last season at best. The only thing that they have returning is the QB, who is pretty good. But I believe they lost 4/5 of the offensive line as well as the 2 top RBs. They were hit hard by graduation on defense as well. On top of that the MEAN GREEN owe them one from 1989, when the win against NT was the turning point for the Snyder years.

  13. The Warhawks have picked up the first member of the 2009 recruiting class when big defensive tackle Blake Cogswell gave his verbal commitment to be apart of the surging ULM program. Cogswell, a 6'3 290 pound defensive nose tackle turned in one of the most impressive junior seasons you will ever see. He totaled 94 tackles, 34 for a loss, and had 23 sacks for the Eagles.. "SMU offered me this past week and I just got an offer from Northwestern State the other day but ULM is the place for me. I have a lot of former teammates and friends over at ULM", said Cogswell. Blake's talents have also gained the interest of several big SEC schools. "A coach from Arkansas called me the other day and wants to get some film on me and Bo Davis at Alabama has been calling and talking to me. So how solid is Cogswell's commit to ULM? "It's real solid", said Blake. I've wanted to go to ULM all along, even before I started getting offers. "Blake has a non stop motor and has great technique, he gets off the ball very well", said Evangel defensive coordinator Byron Dawson. Blake has to fight off the double team, take out the center, and plug both A gaps. I feel like he is the best 2 gap defensive nose tackle in the state of Louisiana. ULM is getting a great football player". Blake said that ULM coach Bob Leahy recruited him and really liked the what he saw on film. What's not to like with an impressive 395 pound bench press and a 610 pound squat! Cogswell also moves very well for a big man posting forty times of 4.8 and 5.0 seconds. As far as the rest of his summer, Blake says he stays pretty busy with his workouts and job. "I work a five day a week 10 hour shift and after that I work out and train for football". So what else drew Blake's talents to ULM? "I want to get into the medical field of prosthesis and ULM has a top of the line program over there that I really like". Blake carries and impressive 3.3 GPA and scored a 19 the first time he took the ACT. He plans to retake the test later this summer. Look for highlights of Blake in the near future from Warhawk Nation. http://hstexas.scout.com/a.z?s=378&p=8...amp;nid=3775007

  18. Flip Saunders out as coach of Pistons AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Flip Saunders was fired as Detroit Pistons coach Tuesday, four days after his team was eliminated by the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals. For More
  19. If you want the best for NT, then you would hope and pray that RV gets another job. He has done what he was brought in to do, Un F*ck the F-up that was Craig Helwig. He has done that, now it's time for NT to look past the Pizza Man and find someone who is forthcoming with the truth about the stadium and treats alums who donate large amounts of money with the respect that is due them. NT needs an AD who understands what it takes to move this athletic program, not just football, to the next level.
  20. She probably is making close to what she made as UNT's head coach.
