  1. I agree. He was running right at my seat in the endzone. Talon90 and I both dropped a big F Bomb when LD fumbled.
  2. There is no way that Reesing is 5-11. He might be 5-9 at best. But he's still one helluva a QB.
  3. 48 of 50. Missed the E on the Green Helmet and the Red M on the White helmet.
  4. Is that all that can be spent, or just spent by the student group?
  5. Notes From Monday Night's Training Camp Practice: July 28, 2008, 9:30 pm Did you notice? When the defense went to its nickel package in a team drill, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila came in to play defensive end and Cullen Jenkins moved inside to tackle. Tramon Williams was the third cornerback alongside starters Al Harris and Charles Woodson. Ruvell Martin took a few reps as a holder for long snapper Thomas Gafford during a field goal drill. Regular holder Jon Ryan held when J.J. Jansen took his snaps. Offensive play of the day During 7-on-7 drills, receiver Johnny Quinn made a diving grab on a long pass down the sideline from quarterback Brian Brohm with safety Aaron Rouse covering him. Defensive play of the day During team (11-on-11) drills, linebacker A.J. Hawk made a nice play to break up an Aaron Rodgers pass intended for tight end Tory Humphrey on a seam route. Injury/participation update DTs Ryan Pickett (hamstring) and Justin Harrell (back) remained out of the evening workout. DE Gbaja-Biamila returned for the padded workout, and T Chad Clifton took more reps as well. CB Tramon Williams dropped out late in the workout with what Coach McCarthy called a hip flexor. The extent of the injury was not immediately known.
  6. This girl is player. I'm impressed!!! Good job Coach Stephens.
  7. Have not seen it, I'll check it out. Excellent film, shows the support of Massillon as a town. Sounds interesting! The class of all football films. I have not seen a better movie, scripted or documentary that moved me as much as this one did. The great Pat Summerall is truly in his element as the narrator. TWO THUMBS UP!!
  8. They have his college listed as Houston. ???
  9. LMGM, I donate what I can afford to the University, sometimes more than other years. I like others on the board, since you called me out by name would be interested to know how many games have you been to during RV's tenure as AD, forget home games I'll take for granted you have been to all the home games. How many AWAY games have you attended. I won't embarrass you by asking YOUR donor level. I'm sure you donate what you can as I do. But I am curious if you have ever had a personal conversation with Mandy, not just at the NCAA tournament, bowl games, and away games, but any time. I find her attitude condescending and unacceptable for an employee of MY UNIVERSITY . I did not attend the kickoff cookout last year and probably will not attend this year, but I still care if the AD puts out a crap product because they represent MY UNIVERSITY . Brett Tulloss (So I can't be accused of hiding behind an internet screen name)
  10. If he'd been able to control his spendthift wife, he would not be broke. I read where she was spending nearly $100,000 a week on jewelry, shoes and cloths. Stuff she could have done without.
  11. Jeff, What has the Atheltic department done recently for you to have confidence that they learn from their mistakes. Remember, Mandy Mckinley is still an employee of the department. That shows they don't learn from the mistakes.
  12. Summer Volleyball prospectus Looking at the prospectus, this team is extremely young. No seniors and no juniors who have played at NT before. The Mean Green Volleyball Classic should be a tough opener (UT-Arlington, Texas Tech and Jackson State). I hope the girls do well, because their on the road for almost a month. They have a five-game home match stetch to end September (Sat, Sep 27 Denver, Thu, Oct 02 Louisiana-Monroe, Fri, Oct 03 Louisiana-Lafayette, Sun, Oct 05 New Orleans and Tue, Oct 07 Southern Methodist.) I hope they can improve on last season's record, but don't count on it. This is a team of babies. Doesn't appear that Rodge's Girl Friend is on the team this year. Don't know if she is playing at another school or just is not with NT any longer.
  13. Tulsa? They do have a fasination with cats.
  14. http://www.dentonrc.com/sharedcontent/dws/...8.6710ba28.html by Brett Vito / Staff Writer North Texas was put in an unenviable situation over the last few weeks, when the Mean Green’s coaching staff found out it will be without its projected starting defensive ends for the 2008 season. Returning starter Eddrick Gilmore is no longer with the team, while Alonzo Horton, one of the Mean Green’s top-rated recruits in its 2008 class, did not earn the associates degree he needed to meet NCAA requirements to transfer to a Division I school from Northwest Mississippi Community College.
  15. They seem to be facinated with cats. I guess their team is a bunch of pussies.
  16. Mosley is a beast! He has gotten bigger and faster during the off season. I think the running back position is going to surprise some people. It will be major strength this season and open up the passing game even more. I agree with the others on the board about Fentriss. I think he and Roberson will be difficult to contain. I also think that the kid from Caddo Mills Desmond Brigham might make a break through and become one of the starters.
  17. Congrats Jim, I wish you and the future misses all the best in the world. Brett
  18. Thank's for all the good wishes. It means a lot that people care. My left leg still hurts like crazy, but it's getting better every day. Thanks again to all my friends on GMG.com for the prayers and good thoughts, Looking forward to two-a-days. Hoping Todge and Rodge are as ready for some football as I am. Go Mean Green!!
