UNT's Tony Mitchell box in FIBA U-19 Championships vs. China

Great first half for Mitchell. I think it's a good sign that he was in for all but one minute of a fairly close 4th Quarter. -

Looks like the start to the 3rd has been real sloppy for USA. -
I don't think I'm alone when I say that Darrell Dickey and the early 2000 football teams are the reason for getting me interested in any UNT sport.
-
If you look at OOC and bowl performance, it's a lot better than anything we've accomplished since and some time before Dickey happened. Back to back national rushing champions. Top 10 ranked defenses. I don't know if you were around in the early 2000s, but there was some serious coaching and talent going on there.

Does something like that ever peak in value? I'm not trying to be mean, and I think it's cool that it's THAT high value, but I doubt anyone in my generation would want one for more than $5. -
Yawn. Until they are on the schedule, I could care less what they do. This is the exact reason I hate college blowhards trying to measure penis size on the internet. Usually it's just 2 dudes sword fighting and the rest of us are innocent bystanders. They should be arrest for indecent exposure. I really wish our 2-3 fans who think it's cool to stick their words into every hole on the internet would stop. txbobcat whateverhisnameis is the same type of person as 61. Especially since they aren't even a part of the WAC, a conference on the decline, but pretend to now have the credibility the schools that built that conference and then left have. Unless fan from another school comes over here or there to be funny or helpful, it's not worth reading and usually ends up in face palms for every fan. Every fan base has those people and the rest of the fan base is embarrassed for them.

So happy to have him HERE. Schools or other players trying out in that article: Pitt UConn Florida Butler Villanova Cal Memphis Michigan State Iowa This soon to be UNT super star hasn't stepped foot on a court yet, and this article coupled with his grades are something we UNT fans can certainly be proud and supportive of.

He got results attendance wise and academic wise. Better character than Dickey, but worse W-L. All that said, I'm happy to have McCarney now, who hopefully will get all the right results. Best of luck to Pitt and Dodge.

I really would like to buy a spot. The way TCU does it, is you have to tailgate in your spot. You can't block the aisles/driveway. So if you want your car next to your tent, you need to buy 2 spaces and a tent that will fit in your spot. I really don't mind this setup, as I think our tailgate crew would probably buy an extra 1 or 2 spots and people could drive away and come back whenever they want. The other way to make it work would be to stripe a few lots extra-wide and charge more for those spots. It just won't work unless you did it that way. The downside: There would be even more parking attendants and even more people with problems with them, because they would have to enforce rules that other big time football schools enforce. Something that us North Texas fans are not familiar with. It's a no win. Honestly, we might find that it isn't an issue at all with all of the space, etc. I want what you're talking about and what I've detailed above, but I really think we ought to give it a season.

Please tell me how being LEED certified is going to help our stadium beat more football teams. Aside from being a point of pride for students and alumns of The University of North Texas, the new stadium doesn't mean anything if we don't win it. The students and alumns from other schools could care less if the score doesn't change. I hope that we all didn't just get better sight-lines to a 7th season in a row of terrible football.

Indiana also had Colony product, Bracey Wright, former teammate of Deron Williams playing in that game. Wright was legit NBA material (drafted by the Timberwolves). That alone got this otherwise apathetic student at that time out to the game. It also attracted some locals and non-UNT fans. If I remember correctly NT played them well the entire game and lost by about 10 points.

I don't know how we can predict the season attendance for next year. I am anxious to see how having a legit nba lottery pick will appeal to students and fans of basketball, regardless of who we play.

Damn. Best of luck to Knox wherever he chooses to go.

You sure it's hotel proprietary and not Fort Worth's own Rahr and Son's Buffalo Butt?

You may get your wish. Evidently the 2 sides in the NBA are further apart than the 2 sides in the NFL right now and not budging, making a lockout just about a forgone conclusion. There may be some new information, to which I am very appreciative if anyone has been following the NBA CBA closely.

That would be Mike Jones; the Fort Worth Star Telegram columnist. Not Bill Jones; the Fox sports southwest cbs 11 / txa 21/ dallas cowboys TV personality...

2012 Hs - Prince Ibeh - 6'10" C (Texas)

He gave a interview to OUhoops.com (May 12,2011) He will appear Memorial Day Weekend at the next Nike EBYL in California. -
This is a bit off Topic... But, there are quite a few Texas lawmakers that had a problem with the raise Rick Barnes was given this post season with the budget shortfalls of the state. Texas makes a ton of money off of athletics and gives a good percent back to academics, but it's just a sign of the times. We might soon be seeing public universities under more scrutiny.
