No, Just hate for this Dodgefan guy. Check his posts, every one of them is about SMU. He's fishing for compliments. Congratulate him and then tell him to go away. No one cares. The game wasn't as "big" as he thinks it is. Anything can happen when those 2 teams get together, so it's not surprising at all that the only person who cares enough to start a thread on this board about a game that has nearly nothing to do with UNT at this point is a pony fan.

Completely agree. When you start a true freshmen in his first start on the road and he throws 2 picks, and there's a JC QB that I assume was brought in for this situation, that's the coaches fault. Is this staff trying to develop McNulty for the future? Is that who they want to hitch their wagon to for the next couple of years?

I wrote Nike a while back about their website and asked if they had any North Texas gear for purchase online. They looked into it and got back to me within a couple of days and said that all Nike gear they had was currently in the team shop or bookstore.

I'd imagine they would be running a non-normal train schedule. At least I hope so. That's how I plan to get to that game.

It's okay to say no to a couples baby shower. I got dragged to one and refuse to go to one ever again. Be a man and take a stand. Unite. Every time one man goes to a baby shower, he puts expectations on other guys to attend. You're ruining it for all of us.

Rumor is, Stoops campaigned hard to get him an interview, which didn't come. I agree about the sentiment that he was out of our price range, but so were other bigger name candidates that were able to obtain an interview as well. Damn glad to have McCarney here now. If we had hired Wilson instead of Dodge, there's no telling if McCarney would have been here or not.

Neinas is friends with Lane Rawlings, and you're right about Neinas being a very good choice for a long term candidate. This means he will put in a good word for a conference that attainable. I doubt it's the Big 12, but if that were the case I wouldn't be opposed. The interim label is to get him in before a vote and he has enough connections and respect to potentially save the big 12. What incentive would be offered to the interim guy who saves the conference during the time they need a commissioner most if it weren't a potential long term gig? If the conference is still around with an auto-bid, the interim guy would have proven that he's a miracle worker at this point.

Breaking out the antitrust hammer for college football might remind the govt. they can use it in other cases. For better or worse.
