Depends on if they went to another D1 school. Juco can play immediately. Lets not even think about this. They need to enjoy playing with one another and do great things. All the national pub of last week and being top 25 has got to mean something... This team can be great.

We've got a nucleus, I know they want Forrest because they know him, but they still have each other. They play at the rec all the time, you have to think they enjoy each other. Seemed to have fun with each other on the road too. I'd hate for them to lose that just because of coach Jones getting his pay day. Rick V. needs to be real open with these guys, especially if he doesn't have Forrest in mind.

Recruiting is the most important aspect at this level. Any coach talent.

You only think those people don't have sources. I have sources too, and they are saying the exact opposite of what your sources are. It doesn't mean it's the wrong decision either, that can't be known until Mr. Young plays for LaTech. I just know that we didn't offer the guy and he was wanting one. That's not dropping a ball or screwing anything up, it's making a decision not to offer.

If the QB of the future isn't on the roster, and they're still looking, they should have offered Mr. Young. Mac thinks we have better QBs by not offering. Makes no sense to me, but all we can do is watch what happens.

They live in a world where they aren't going to get Johnny Jones no matter which way they slice it. So they'll say whatever the hell they want and not live with any consequences. This is the best thing for them to angle on so they can say, "Johnny went to LSU, but if he didn't, we'd have hired him." Whatever makes you feel better, SMU.

Things around UNT, they're changing. I doubt we'd be able to match $2M, but I bet we'd be able to give a hefty raise from where he's currently at.

As a fan being so excited about next year, I am crushed.

That's why I say, tech is not fighting us for this spot. We are in. They are fighting utsa, fiu, Mtsu, Charlotte etc. to be in the same conference as us.

Ultimately, I'd like to see MTSU and La Tech. I'd rather steer clear of any FCS schools, if at all possible.

I hope La Tech Gets in. I don't think we are their competitor. They might be competing with UTSA or Texas State or FIU, but not with us.
