  1. Of course, it's not. She's probably a sweet lady. I hope for Grant that we win, but I also wish that we played TxSt so that there's no playing the game of if we lose to Houston than by default we lose to Texas State.
  2. Nothing a strong backhand can't fix.
  3. Rebuilt in 2007 with all original ford parts by Michael Maher? 5 years later it's in disrepair and has to be rebuilt with crap that isn't original Ford parts? I'll bet Michael is sick to his stomach. Nothing against the guys that wanted to repair this thing and put their twist on it, but that is really disappointing.
  4. What point in the programs life are we in? We've been playing football for 100 years. If we can't reasonably expect to kick the s out of tsu, who can we expect to beat? We beat that Mtsu team last year and it wasn't close. Let us hope that 52 point gap didnt close that quickly in 1 year.
  5. I'm simply not concerned about Texas southern, and I'm surprised anyone else is. NT03 summed up how I feel about it. Tsu isn't Mcneese and we aren't Mtsu. Tsu isn't Wagner and were not fau. Where we were picked to finish in relation to fau and Mtsu has no affect on how I feel about tsu or our team. Tcu played tx st. A couple years ago, and they turned out just fine. It just doesn't matter who it is. You just have to win. I really feel like the dodge years have beaten us down so much that we forget the improvement last year. I'm guilty of it, myself.
  6. Absolutely. This game really shouldn't be close. Fau sucks and so does Mtsu. Their performance should be no indication of ours.
  7. I know its a thing and am used to it and it still sounds dumb. So continue to do it and I'll continue to think people who do it are dumb, but I'm glad they are having fun.
  8. Agreed. Very impressive.
  9. This was my experience as well. I ended up leaving rtvf for business. If the value/end game of getting a degree is getting you an interview/ job, you've already accomplished it.
  10. More people get espn3 than the lhn.
  11. Many of my tcu friends plan on either leaving just after halftime, showing up for halftime, or getting there just before halftime. They aren't real psyched about that game.
  12. Ed Wesley was late to a team meeting today. That may have been the last straw as he was cut shortly after.
  13. Agreed. Some of these are hitting very close to home.
  14. As far as i know, It is the $250 level, not the $500 level. It was last year too. The mean green room is for women's games at 250 plus purchase of women's season tix I think. $500 level for men's plus season tix. The young alum section is for season ticket purchasers that don't donate if I remember correctly. I'll admit they sucked me in with the recent grad discount. As far as i can tell, it's working.
  15. U mad? The athletic dept. is doing young graduates a solid by getting them in the habit of donating while making a connection with that person for at least the next 4 years. So if I have this right: Give away end zone tickets... Good. Give discounts to club members and recent grads (who by the way are funding the stadium)... Bad.
  16. I'm not surprised that he wasn't able to buy them when he called, but I am VERY surprised that they told him to call back instead of adding him to the list of people to call when season tix go on sale to the general public. Maybe they are trying to push football right now, but if they don't really crank up basketball marketing after the first home game...
  17. Are they passing out any parking passes or tix?
  18. Not a chance in hell. We'll be lucky if we're ranked in the Top 325.
  19. And neither did fouts in our case...
  20. That's funny. I guess some could say we could be the next Boise back in 2002. We even had few good players when dickey was here. Or Troy a couple of years ago. At least they actually beat good ooc teams. Houston could be the next Boise; they've been good for a little while. If every team were to keep their same path and get better and better from the time they were pretty good just about every team in the fbs would be the next Boise and undefeated playing in the fiesta bowl every year right now and never regress. How bout they start off small and get a field and fans a fraction of what Boise has?
  21. In the most backhanded disclaimer way possible. He literally shoved words into mean green D's post.
  22. I've yet to see Coleman play, but I'd hope that Franklin isn't backing anyone down with Tony and Coleman on the floor at the same time unless it's to pass out to one of them.
  23. The breakdown of offensive to defensive rebounds per game for Tony was about 2.5/8. That makes a whole lot of sense and I don't know that we'll see that much drop-off in his defensive rebounds. The man is a defensive machine. BTW, if Tony had played more games and averaged 8 Def Rebs / game that would put him real close to the Top 5. His positioning and use on offense is the key to increasing his rebounds. Depending on the coaching change we could see him playing around the basket more or watch him create and benefit from having Coleman around. For Tony's rebounds to increase significantly, it seems our team is going to have to miss some shots, because he practically cleans everything on the defensive glass.

Once they get the bridge built, I think it will be in the middle of everything.
  25. WTF is a low-major? Never heard that term before.
