The longer this goes, the more it shows this was a half hatched plan, a reaction, and disorganization from the administration falling directly at the feet of the president. At least we’ll know who to blame.

He doesn’t owe us anything. He did his job and was compensated appropriately. Things didn’t work out and now we owe him gratitude and contracted $. Thanks for leaving the program better than it was found and its too bad that spring board to K State or OU didn’t work out. He got some valuable experience and hopefully some fond memories and experiences. I hope his family had a good time here and that they are able to make any impending transition smoothly. He’s probably really busy trying to get a lot of things lined up and coordinated while keeping in touch with contacts throughout the industry.

I really wanted Seth to get hired away to break the cycle.

It’s more likely that greater than 2 teams dropped from in front and greater than 0 teams moved in front. Edit: I just want to clarify that if 14 teams lost or had tight games against worse teams that were in front, and 12 teams behind us had better wins, the net difference is we move up 2 spots. I don’t know if that is where the term “NET” comes from.

It's easy for them to tell UNT how to spend money. My wife (an OU grad, die hard OU football fan, SL fan, has family members that played for OU) said to me just the other night, "He's been there 7 years? That's a long time for not having accomplished much."

I'm happy the Murphy twins got the chance to move on to a place they wanted to be. I hope they are as thankful for the place that gave Littrell and Murphy's the opportunity to get to where they wanted to go. That is, after all, the purpose of the University...

Surely McMurphy understands that more needs to change than just a coach, but it ignites the fire in a fanbase to find new resources. I hope Seth goes on to coach at his dream job and win another national championship. OU fans and fans at schools with endless resources have no clue how schools at our level look at these things.

Seth would probably tell you he and Harrell got super Lucky to hear about Mason Fine. I doubt it was luck that led to them offering a scholarship and starting Mason as a true freshmen Seth's first year here.

I am hoping for a hire similar to his hire. it just didn't work out long term, but worked out for the first 3-4 years. Experienced coach with offensive mind. Hired to raise the profile and bar of the program. I hope we are looking for all those things again.

This was likely no surprise to Seth. Last year he came really close.
