Since the second FAU loss, we have stayed about steady despite the loss to Rice. In other words it wasn't specifically the Rice loss that has hurt us. We had 2 chances to beat FAU and move into the conversation. Beyond that, there isn't a whole lot of opportunity to stay in front of teams that have more opportunities for wins against great teams.

This is odd… he was on the list of about 3-4 candidates when the stories of Seth’s firing came out.

This hire reminds me a lot of the Littrell hire. That’s not a bad thing if he can start out from where Littrell left and create the excitement and increased production Littrell did his first 3 years.

I hope Kenny Perry has a very successful career in whatever capacity that may be. I don't think we should cast stones like "joker" etc. because: 1. We will look like idiots if he is the next coming of football Jesus at some other school. 2. see 1. 3. see 2. Terrible look to shit on someone who may send us recruits and be well respected enough to get an interview. That said, I hope his interview was considered and that we have who we want already in the pool of candidates and both parties were having conversations prior to the firing of Littrell. Otherwise this is a complete shit-show.

Guys have had to battle through these last 2 wins… very impressive to come out on top in both.
