Second loss because we fumble...

I felt bad after, as well. I was questionable from the start with family stuff that had me out and about in the downpour up until noon. The delay kept me away because it had just been wave after wave of rain. I thought it would just continue and did not want my 1 yo and 4 yo out in that weather. A delayed kick of 2-3 hours would have been perfect. It's no wonder people stayed home. Most people probably do not want to hear this, but the AD is at fault for this too. He can't remain blameless and just tweet at fans in frustration when part of his job is to get people out to the game. His line should have been, "We are looking at ways to get more people out to the game in those situations. We have to do better."

We should be more concerned about the ones who have never shown up instead of the ones that stayed away

In a stadium that isn't covered, with the most rainfall in 1 day since 1960, the weather matters. This shouldn't be surprising. I think I saw that the past 24 hours was the most rainfall in a 24 hr period since 1960 something? We need more of every type of fan. There should be tens of thousands of fence sitters who take the place of each other when other fence sitters can't make it.

No. The offense looked way off. The play calling was off. It looked like coaches and players wanted a week off or a way to “just get through with this game”. I’m concerned about southern miss. We could really use a bye next week. This performance will not cut it against southern miss. it also looked like the play calling was built to take care of Mason. A lot more running into a brick wall than usual.

I thought that too, before Saturday. Today, I know we have the ability and potential to be, but they missed an opportunity to prove it. I’m not down on North Texas. We have an explosive team, and a fantastic defense. We could blow every other team out. We just need to pay attention to the focus and details the game requires. The ability is there.

There's a good chance he has some idea what is going on, but he probably doesn't know everything right after a game about what is going on with every player. I'm comfortable with people keeping their mouths shut until they have the facts.

Yeah, that throw down the left sideline on the last drive was surprising for an obviously hurting Mason Fine. Forget which WR it was, but he deserves a medal for breaking up that interception. I expected to run it and lineup the FG a little bit better.

This was the first time all year our secondary looked over matched when Bonnette was on the field. That guy was killing us.

La Tech is definitely the best team in the west. I was impressed with how our offense moved. Unimpressed with the fumbles and special teams. We clearly had the ability, firepower and defense to blow them out, but made too many individual mistakes at critical points. Especially on special teams. We did not maximize our abilities on a few plays. When you play good teams, that will kill you. Just a very disappointing loss, but I am overall pretty pleased with the ability and potential. Just need to clean it up.

Whatever the controversy, Hicks was the 3rd best QB to see the field tonight. Also, if it weren't for Alex Morris, Shanbour could be our new starting running back.
