There is a problem with the attitude of this team when they get ahead. And a decision to go for it on 4th and not convert and a fake field goal call may indicate it starts with coaching. I understand wanting to dominate and having confidence in your team and players. I can't tell if it is over-confidence or desperation to swing momentum, but it looks like it has cost us 3 games. The coaches are the ones that need settling. It leads to blow out wins and blown leads to teams that have an ability to catch up. We are not deep enough to get away with it every time.

There are not many in any conference who have distanced themselves from Troy as of late... including Nebraska, #25 LSU last year, Southern Miss, almost beat #2 Clemson 2 years ago. Of course it is not what we've wanted. I'm questioning your point. I feel like you either want a refund or to fire the coaching staff. What is it that you are complaining about? Being 0-2 in bowls and 0-1 in conference championships after a regular season loss to UAB? You had plenty of time between those 2 bowls and conference championship to complain about that. You are upset because we lost to UAB. Losing is shitty part of football. UAB and LaTech are 2 of the better programs in CUSA. We need to beat those better programs to be a better program. We need to pay like we expect to beat them.

Again, we are paying for what we want. We've paid for what we've gotten. They'd trade places with us.

What has UTSA done?

Yea, I hear you, but we put up gawdy passing numbers and lose the important games in conference by close margins. Flip side is, they are pretty consistent at winning and always slay some decently large opponents.

When you are a team that lives and dies by the pass, we died by the run.

This pretty much sums it up. It is difficult to go undefeated. Some perspective: I will take the 2 losses this season to any season I have ever watched as a UNT fan. All I ask is that our team is competitive in its losses. If we lose (and every team does), I want it to be by a possession with chances to win. It's frustrating, yes, but so much better than getting our heads beat in. We have the players, we need some more of them. It is still a good year to be a Mean Green fan.

Honestly, passing game looked good... defense was good enough. O line and running game... not so much.
