  1. It was my understanding that Dr. Pohl was going to return to teaching. I think I might have even read that it was with the Business ITDS department.
  2. Don't get so defensive, I think they complain about valid points. And, if you would have bothered to read a previous post someone said they would be happy to put together a fund raiser to make this happen. UNT's marching band has consistently been underacheiving IMO. It's not out of the ordinary, the football team does it too. To be fair, I do appreciate their hardwork, and dedication. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to be out there. Which is why the points and complaints aren't necessarily directed at the students.
  3. I had heard that this was the case as well. I hope that the fact they caught cramps wasn't because of the lack of conditioning. I watched the Baylor and TCU game, and if I was Baylor I would take a hard look at how the training staff gets players ready to play in games. A lot of times that many cramps could have been prevented with proper hydration and diet leading up to the game.
  4. That is a little much. It's only Army.
  5. I agree very much with this statement
  6. The score at the point where they ran the fake punt was 28-7 and right after we came out and marched 80yds for the TD. There was no telling at this point what the final score was going to look like. I didn't think it showed a lack of class or anything on Mack's behalf, even during the game. Are they supposed to just let us climb back into the game, when they have a chance to put the dagger in the coffin?
  7. As long as there is a human input into the equation, margin of victory will always matter.
  8. That's sad
  9. Now, Perry, you have more of an argument here, 4 and 1 in field goal range with 10 minutes left in the game.
  10. OMFG, you can't be serious. You know what it's like given the BCS ranking system. The 2nd half just started. Don't be such a cry baby.
  11. True, infact, CNN asked for the same story. So, it is highly possible that story will be seen nationally on CNN all weekend long.
  12. Yes ULM 24 - Alcorn State 6
  13. I don't really know what to think about this game.... Why the low score? Good Defense, or bad offense? Thoughts? Box Score
  14. Nationally ranked and recognized as one of the top 20 programs in the nation according to industry reviews, and the quickest rising. The logistics team won the national championship in 2005, the 3rd title in the past 6 years. One of the most underrated programs at UNT in my opinion.
  15. LOL, that made me laugh a little bit. Probably because it is true. I also agree that these days campus is looking really lively. There are so may new apartment complexes just off campus to the east and west that it is rediculous. I don't know if these students are considered to live "off campus" but they are definitely close enough to count as "on campus" and contributing to the "college atmosphere" is my opinion. Now, if only there was a fun place to hang out and do things close to campus...Oh yeah, the rec is always busy... There is a football, basketball, and soon to be baseball stadium within walking distance... And they are rejuvinating Fry Street as a classier hang out spot.
  16. Well, I haven't seen this question answered yet, so I will ask it again. What would you use a 3D Eagle for?
  17. I would love to be able to get out of class and go watch the mavs' practice.
  18. College football is built on history and legend. This is our history. Forget it if you want, but it's part of what makes us who we are today.
  19. there's been a whole thread about this. thread
  20. That is some kinda bullshit. This has got to be the worst slap in the face for the athletic department and football team. It's not like this is ever going to be a HUGE matchup, but christ. They are going to call it the TEXAS BOWL and all d1 teams are invited but us... perfect.
  21. I see now, can't read apparently. I'm dumb. Thanks for the gentle push in the right direction.
  22. That's not a conference game?
  23. yes, they have, however on monday patterson said he could not take either of the ou players, bomar or quinn.
  24. I agree the nationally pub and attention alone is worth it. He wasn't the only one cheating. He may have gotten caught up in this with as many as 20 other players? And how is the dealership and the school not held accountable?
  25. I agree, but I also think it is a shame that no punishment will be brought down on OU. That is the institution that is getting away unscathed, and now a student is taking full responsibility and blame. The alumni network should be held responsible for their schools image and success/demise just as much as the student and in this case it involves more than just 1 or 2 or 3 players.
