I highly doubt something like this will get Dale Hansen and Ch 8 out to NT. Hansen has better things to do than to follow around a former NFL player on a speaking tour.

I really think that the upcoming release of NCAA will be a huge improvement over last years. I am really looking for them to out-do themselves.

I completely agree with the 2k titles being the best, I love everyone of them college hoops 2k7, NBA 2k7, and baseball. EA has to wake up and realize they can't just put out crap. I didn't buy the 360 version of NCAA football just because they said they weren't able to put everything they wanted into the game because of time constraints before they started selling it. Hell, they released the xbox and ps2 versions about a full month before the 360 version. So that tells me the time thing isn't BS. It doesn't matter if they have contracts with the NFL or the NCAA for those titles, the 360 was brand new at the time... It takes a little while for them to look at cross platform coding, especially for a new system. It's not the same thing across the board.

Half right... They skimped on the 360 version for the high res stadiums yes, but it was more of a time constraint than a space constraint. They also left off a few other features that the other versions were able to employ. You have to remember the 360 is still pretty new, and at this time last year, they were designing for a brand new system from just about scratch. Next year's version should be a whole lot better than this past years'.

I cheer for UT baseball. I don't know if anyone realizes how big of a deal baseball is around central Texas, but having grown up in Round Rock, I played with a couple of guys that now play for Texas and were on the team when they won the National Championship. Also went to school and played with a couple of pitchers now in the majors. Also grew up watching games at the Dish. Used to play ball with Nick Peoples currently playing for UT. His dad was actually a little league coach of mine back in the day. And if I remember right he has 2 brothers that may have played in the majors at one time or another. Chance Wheeless is from RR current playing for UT. Kerry Wood is from Round Rock. (for all you cubs fans - although all he seems to do is get hurt these days.) Thomas Diamond is from Round Rock, and is my age. (for all you rangers fans.) John Danks (pitcher for Chi White Sox) is also from Round Rock and has a little brother playing for UT right now.

I appreciate what Satan has done for society. And it does have me quite aroused.

I don't know if you saw us play last year, but if we were going for the groin, we would have hit you on the toe. We absolutely could do nothing right, but beat SMU and thank the lord for that.

Compare that to our conferences 5 other teams with better than .500 records and our 10-2 Non-Con? I wish we really had that UTA game back. Oh well, we're here and kicking.

Mississippi valley state is the team that espn has us playing in the play-in game... I doubt we will actually be there. That team is 2 games over .500 at 16-14. We are 13 games over .500 at 23-10. I just don't see it happening.

Well, I guess it wasn't updated... we moved up to number 6 in overall scoring offense in the nation.

It makes sense that those people are the ones that are excited, since they probably are sports fans if they are supporting those programs. Everybody loves a winner.

I can't help but think it would go a long long way to bucking the trend of the best athletes in Texas bolting to other states to play BBall. This area has some real talent, and Texas as a whole has really stepped it up lately keeping local talent at home. This goes a long way to proving to these young guys that NT is serious about competing on the national stage.
