Holy crap man, how many posts have you made about the shade of green? I think we all get that you don't like it now. Personally I didn't think it was good when it came out, but after going to the OU game and seeing the green on people in the crowd, I like it a lot better. It's much greener. You alone are not going to change the color back to what it was.

Is there an over under on if he lives to be that old or not? AND IMO having a contract with a coach means basically nothing. It means more than anything that Mac Brown isn't leaving to take another job. When UT is done with mac Brown they will terminate or buyout his contract. It doesn't mean the school has to stick with him, but it means he has to stick with the school.

I was just thinking how nice it was to have a completely clean field. With no huge gaudy logos on it. There is a Sun Belt logo at the end of the field, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. If our logo isn't on the field itself, I don't think we should have that conference logo on it.

Not necessarily. I won't say which station it was, but I've seen a scenario where they roll a satellite truck up in their own parking lot, and broadcast from there. They could use a sat. just about anywhere in the DFW area just to justify the cost of the truck/sat time/labor. Sometimes it's easier to hit a sat. than trying to tune in a crappy microwave signal that's bouncing off of clutter.

In bowl predictions I am seeing USC and OU in the championship game. There is a possibility we will be playing the best, if not the second best team in the country that day.

Yes, I think we do. How else do you explain the hire of Todd Dodge? They asked me if it was okay to hire him. If we bitch and moan enough I think it is entirely possible to break the will of the coaching staff and have open practices. I'm still not at 1000 posts. I'm better than you.

I prefer to talk about something we have the ability to influence. Like opening practices. You are wasting your time talking about the stadium.

You know, this really isn't any different from what they have to deal with at TCU. Gary Patterson closes his practices all the time. It is even difficult sometimes to get media coverage. I'd like to think if they close practices it is for good reason. I'm sure the players stay more focused too. Dickey used to walk over to the media and talk to them all the time, even during practices. Is that wrong? Maybe- Maybe not. There are differences in coaching styles. I don't know why people can't accept this. If Dodge wants his practices closed, and you don't know anyone on the team, just call up RV and ask him if it's okay. Don't have his number? Donate more money, and I'm sure he'd even give you some sort of 'hall pass' to let you guys go to the bathroom... I'd like to know when they practice, that way I know that they are working out, and when to expect updates. AND, even if they didn't post the times, you think it would be difficult to find out? You'd just have people showing up to practices that aren't posted getting turned away.

Depending on what age you are, you might have even talked about Cox Sucking. Never really was a Dolphins fan in Junior High, but now that Patrick Cobbs is playing for them I might change my mind.
