The Dallas / Carolina game at the end of the season is on NFL Network.... So why is the NFL Network so great again?

You know, I'm not a fan of Mendoza. But if you think SLCoutsiders posts are crap, then my opinion is you should take your opinions to your own website. You really don't have to pick a interweb word fight with someone who doesn't think like you. To corroborate your claims, I have also heard a rumor of the same thing from various sources that may be close or far away from the truth. I wouldn't mind seeing that guy become a strength and conditioning coach, he is ripped. My problem has been ever since the OU game and ARK game, when the coaches were carrying on and laughing about schemes.

Mendoza, from what I am hearing knows how to work out his kids. Former players said he came straight from the marines and acted like a drill sgt. during practices. If anything Mendoza will definitely work our players hard and life weights with them in the weight room. He will make our guys big.

In the home markets the game must be rebroadcast on a local broadcast (ch. 27). Comcast locally does not carry NFL network and I don't think time warner does either. You just get it because you get my27 in the dallas market.

Gumbel I have hear recently suffered a stroke, so that might explain a little.

Both of those jobs would be a lot tougher than the North Texas job. It will be much easier for Dodge to compile a gaudy record at North Texas in the Sun Belt close to the talent that knows him best. 1.8 mil and a head coaching job at Baylor might be nice now, but North Texas winning would be a spring board to crazy money, loose women, and plentiful booze at UT later on.

agreed. And from the way dodge was saying they work and stress team speed, there is no way he could get slower.

Thanks for the post. After seeing earlier in the season the disrespect some of our players have shown towards our own coaches, it doesn't surprise me a bit that some showed disrespect towards yours. The majority of our students are good students, and if they don't act like it Dodge will clean them up. Things got a bit unruly during the Dickey tenure, and it's good to see Dodge taking stands.

I don't know that bad recruiting has ever been an excuse for A&M. Year in and Year out they have tons of players that are highly recruited 5*s and top state 100. They constantly have talent in the NFL. They are a recruiting machine.

Is this a joke? Because I have been closer to the reality of this statement than most on this board, and I don't see a line drawn between a grenade on a football field and what happens in Iraq. I vote that if this post is not a joke, it's the worst post all season.

I have also heard this. This is all something better left under the rug. Hence why no one on this board has said a damn thing about it until it was in the papers. We all know about it. Dickey is gone, and we (the fans) and the school would prefer to forget about it.

Did you go to the game? I can't say that I'd blame anyone for wanting to sit at home for that game. It was miserable.
