  1. I might be in the minority when I say that unless a BCS conf. comes calling the SunBelt might be the best fit and has just as much talent as other non-bcs conferences. For us it makes sense, the footprint is pretty decent. It's a poor man's SEC. The kind of talent the SunBelt can pull from home states is far beyond that of other non-bcs conferences save perhaps C-USA.
  2. Does a bear crap in the woods? Well, except Polar Bears don't of course...
  3. Actually if we were to open our oil fields it wouldn't be profitable at a buck and some change. It costs a lot of money to drill here in the US, unless you of course would like to go drill for minimum wage... but then you couldn't afford the gas to put in your own car.
  4. Actually this year for the first year ever there is a roster sharing feature. So, you can enter the names and share them with others online for free. You know some fanboi is going to get the whole list together and then everyone will have every name in no time.
  5. Wow. Great write up and information. Thanks for the post.
  6. No, that song is over played for football and a beating...
  7. If he doesn't have success here after 4-5 years, he may not have the option of leaving. Right now this metroplex loves Todd Dodge, and the only chance he goes somewhere else in the next 2 years is if its one of 3 schools. You can think real hard about which 3... and one of them already has their pass happy coach.
  8. My guess is that DeLoach sees a lot of things that Mendoza didn't/doesn't.
  9. How Ironic. Some friends and I were actually thinking about making it out to Bonnaroo. Good stuff.
  10. This is the worst post ever. we won over 20 games again this season...
  11. Hey now, shouldn't you be dripping wet over watching Michael Schumacher's "shifting" prowess on the other side of the world instead of thinking about me? I mean, it's flattering, but it makes me a little uneasy.
  12. I'll be going, I've got a brother that lives in Houston. He will probably like to go as well. I like the idea of getting something together the night before as long as it involves ladies and alcohol. Giggity.
  13. That sounds about right. It is a pretty large structure. Aluminum is a lot more expensive now compared to then as well. I really could see us making more money if we sold that stuff off. As much as I like to dream about us getting a baseball team moving some bleachers across a highway will not get us another girls program added to make it a plausible notion. Sorry guys, but bleachers a very small part of a larger problem, and we could probably use the cash a bit more at the moment.
  14. I like that idea. With the strides a lot of our development has been making with the green buildings and the essc. The environmental science program at UNT is a great program, and the reasoning behind our school colors being green - it only makes sense.
  15. I believe it was Leander, Texas in the Hill Country just north and west of Austin. My old stomping grounds. Doh! Buff beat me to it.
  16. I know, it's all pie in sky...
  17. I know what that feels like...
  18. I can guarantee if we make it to the semis and championship game every station in town will have highlights...
  19. CW33 was there. It would make it much easier for them to get highlights if it was broadcast... Bigger, Better TV deals... Maybe someway for NTTV to send highlights on some satellite time etc...
  20. Not sure what you preferring byes has to do with it... Or what you plan on doing with shim at our last home game.
  21. I know you are, but IMO there is no reason to call attention to a harmless nickname.
  22. There is. It's like 50 bucks. Why do you think students get free tickets? Because they already pay for them, whether they go or not.
  23. If you want to over-think something, sure, you can find anything to be upset about. If you want to live a long, happy and stress free life, you will forget what you just wrote and not concern yourself with a nickname that *gasp* has a color in it.
  24. Our defense made key stops midway through the second half when we needed them (when they got within 1). Our defense has really gotten to be pretty promising. Our ball handling, and inbounding, however, towards the end of the game coupled with a few botched free throws made things a lot closer than they needed to be.
