I'm not calling for an apology, but when he's joking about something that easy for 2 years now, I think it's time he stepped up his game and used his brain a little more. We are talking about students barely 4 months out of HS. We know where Dodge came from. We know what we look like. In this day of "shock journalism", and "any publicity is good publicity" we sure do have a lot of ass clowns running around with press credentials, keyboards, and no lack of cameras to make them authorities. And don't try to defend that statement to me. Jeff Andrews is no better than Kige Ramsey. What are we going to do when good, intelligent, respectable reporters die? Well, then we run into the idiocracy scenario, and millions of Kiges.

News Flash: He came to UNT to help Dad win. Take out Vizza to put in Riley at QB and your best 11 players are NOT on the field. Period. You are smoking something mighty strong, friend.

Really? Vizza has shown a ton of maturity this season so far by limiting his bad passes, and making some pretty good reads and knowing when to pull it down and get the 1st. His decision making is not a problem this season, and it sure shows.

Wow man, Riley has more upside than Vizza at WR, but not at QB at this point. You are basically saying that Vizza lost us our game? Are you on something? If your excuse for playing Riley at QB is eventually he will be replacing Vizza, then we should probably put in a peewee leaguer because eventually, he just might turn into a college QB if we leave him in there long enough.

TFLF, I am with you. It is astonishing, the football 'fans' that think the problem is at qb. I think the problem is, we have a running back who is under utilized, apparently. I know we pass to open the run, now, but damn. We didn't figure it out until the end of the game.

ULM loses by 1 to arkansas. MTSU beats Maryland. Arkansas St. scores 31 in the 1st quarter and wins 83-10. Now, Ark st. beat a D-1aa team, but still... they showed them why....

If it's outside of Tiger Stadium, does LSU still get the gate? I could see them having it at Texas Stadium if they did. Good LSU base here, and UNT would definitely travel well.

It is very refreshing to have an influx of new perspective and to know that the nation is growing.

Cups are kind of high class, I do believe showing us your cans will be acceptable. Just make sure they're big.

I don't feel that I should have to remind people how long we kept Dickey around for before he started winning games. The difference is, I think, once we start winning those games it might not stop until Dodge leaves.

I see your point KRAM. We would have to expect to win before it becomes a letdown.

Totally agree with your statement. Play till the end, and respect the game and your opponent. I'd rather have our guys get a few more looks full speed than stand around and watch someone run the clock out, even if it does result in a bloated score.

Games aren't won with pride and a lot of the things listed above. You aren't just good because you want to be, and you can't just hate your opponent to make them pay, you have to execute. These kids wouldn't be out there playing and practicing and wasting their time out there if they didn't truly want to be there and win. Dodge will turn things around, he's got the right attitude, the right defensive coordinator, and he's getting the players to buy in. If everybody buys in to what Dodge is doing, and executes, then it will be Dodges fault if we lose. I really think the players realize this. I would never question their will or want or belief in themselves. Especially from the outside looking in. The problem is in execution right now, which can be worked out because all the other things are there.

Just to confirm what I think I am hearing.... Do we now have an I or Goalline Formation in the mix? Thanks for the write up Dodge2007. I look forward to hearing from others who actually got eyes on rather than the knee jerk reactions from people with unrealistic expectations that don't know what they are talking about.
