Well when you do the math that is only about 30 people. Only 216 people had taken part in the poll at the time you posted this so I don't think 30 people wanting to be at Fouts is anything to worry about haha.

I'm just glad that we as a message board can claim responsbility for the other non-profit website losing some if not a majority of the pictures they were offering for the enjoyment of Mean Green fans. We definitely don't want too many ways for fans to have access to North Texas media. Let's try and keep it to the 2 or 3 websites that are obviously approved by this board.

I just graduated from UNT in December, but during my time there in Denton I often thought that the Radisson would make a great dorm atmosphere. Unrealistic, yes but still the idea of that place being a dorm would be very cool and add to anyone's college experience.

It is sad to see the Cotton Bowl Stadium falling by the wayside even with improvements being made because even after the Texas OU game eventually leaves and the Cotton Bowl game leaves the stadium there will only ever be one true Cotton Bowl. Much like the Orange Bowl game leaving the Orange Bowl stadium it is sad to see tradition fall behind state of the art luxuries and corporate demands for bigger and better. As sad as it is to see a stadium like the Cotton Bowl take a back seat in the coming years to the new Cowboys Stadium I must say after going to the Cotton Bowl game for the last 5 years it is definitely very evident that the stadium is outdated to the point that watching a game there has become un-enjoyable when you consider the maze of ramps and cut throughs to get to your seat as well as the narrow aisles and bathroom waiting lines that block and mesh with the concessions lines. I will miss the tradition of watching the Cotton Bowl in the stadium it is named after but look forward to a more fan friendly venue in Arlington in the years to come.

Well if you do any kind of search for the Ion 4D through google and check out some reviews of it, they all describe the facemask as being "a part" of the helmet instead of a completely separate piece that is held on by screws and brackets now. Basically I think it is just more "a part" of the helmet than a facemask has ever been before and not necessarily what one would imagine if they just read those words without actually seeing the product.

The Schutt Ion4D is of this same concept with the facemask actually being a part of the helmet instead of a separate piece. Needless to say I think the Ion4D is going to see more success especially since it is already being used by teams such as the NY Giants, Penn State, Auburn, and Air Force to name a few. The Mean Green vs. The Hooters...I usually choose the latter

I realize the stigma attached to a conference like the Sun Belt is that we are the bottom of the heap of conferences, despite our recent success as a conference, and that we are just the up-start league for schools making the leap from the FCS but I truly believe that the Sun Belt Conference could one day develop into a very successful conference. Let's face it, all of the BCS Conferences started where we did but they just had a head start and so therefore they are going to be ahead of the rest of the pack. However this whole college football landscape is still very young when you consider the current format for determining a winner of a national champion and it is very obvious that throughout our lifetimes the landscape will continue to evolve and change into something we may not even be able to comprehend as far as conference affiliations and the determination of a national champion so even though right now the Sun Belt is not the SEC or Big12 who's to say we couldn't one day be there as well as every other conference. I for one believe that the day will come where major reorganization will come within the FBS and all conferences will have an equal claim to bowl tie ins and revenue. Conferences will TRULY be for the purpose of regional affiliation and if we are no longer in the Sun Belt then that is fine, but I really don't think that what conference you are in one day will really matter anymore except to signify what region of the country you play. My point being is that we may constantly be looking to get out of the Sun Belt now but one day who's to say we won't be wanting back in? Lets enjoy where we are and build what we have instead of looking to jump ship.
