I agree. At least the pros are under contract. These kids have never really been after the education, but how does their education benefit from three transfers in four years? It is really a joke. I think a two year commitment should be the minimum not counting redshirt. At least then we can learn their names before they leave. But no great talent would sign with UNT.

My guess is that we will continue to see all at-large bids go to power conferences, especially after 14 out of 16 SEC teams got invitations this year. Each mid-major or low-major conference seems to have a Memphis, High Point, or McNeese that are always picked to breeze through their conference schedule and tournament. We have a chance in the AAC because Memphis is inconsistent, but money may tilt it much further in their favor in the future until they jump ship. Why can't we at least find a way to get non-con teams to play us like Memphis did? We have the respect of P5 teams in that they don't want to play us, but what about those that organize non-con tournaments? It seems like something could be done if we just embraced the fact that we are increasingly a BASKETBALL SCHOOL. A basketball school in a football state I guess.

Maybe Floyd will back out. I hope he gets that 💰💰💰, but if not, I would love to have him back.

It is great to win individual games as David, but post season respect and attention would be nice. Post season wins even better! It is one thing to have less money than SMU and beat them, but it apparently takes good money to get an at large in basketball.

I watched him play against Youngstown State and he was definitely a player to watch. Shot the ball well and dove for loose balls. Lots of hustle. I am excited to see what he can do here and was hoping he come here.

I'll miss him, but he needs a little more work to get where he needs to be. Definitely capable, but cost us a few games with poor ball control and decision making.

I hate to admit it since I denied it all season, but UC Irvine might have been a little better that us this year. It was a good SEMI-FINAL game against a good opponent that will probably win it all. I do thank Ross Hodge for two good seasons as head coach and 27 wins this year and eight great seasons at UNT. I wish him luck at WVU. It's not his fault that WVU had to announce before our season ended to appease their fan base. Thanks to the team especially the seniors for a great year. Atin Wright scored 25 points and Floyd 18. If anything, the players with eligibility should have been more motivated to perform so he would take them with him or another team would. The seniors should have been motivated because it was their final season. Great game for Rondel Walker and Moulaye Sissoko.
