  1. ULL is still ULL but they're allowed to use "Louisiana" as a sports nickname. They're consistently good in athletics and always give us trouble.
  2. Looks like we're close as far as the athletics budget--we're at $44m for 2024-2025 and they're at $48m. I don't have a clue as to the quality of UTSA's finances so I won't speculate on that. But I do know our new President is all in on athletics so I expect our budget will to continue to grow at a nice pace.
  3. No idea what we've spent dollarwise but I know we've renovated/expanded the football stadium, basketball arena and baseball/softball complex during that time.
  4. This is a fair take but I'd say UNT is a more deserving/attractive candidate than UTSA. You guys certainly have them beat in facilities, fanbase and academics. Who knows what will happen but I'd rather have the Mean Green on our schedule.
  5. But it was at 3pm on a Friday, a lot of people were back at work and couldn't watch.
  6. Great questions, unfortunately I haven’t been to a baseball game in years so I’m not much help. I live 3 hours away and football is about the only thing I make it back for but I know we’ve done some nice renovations. Edit: it looks like ya’ll found some links online
  7. I agree. I'd say most of us are expecting a PAC invite so travel partners is certainly a possibility. I am curious--are the partial share AAC schools responsible for the entire exit fee? $27.5m is a bitter pill to swallow! That's fair, I really can't argue with that.
  8. Yep, we had a coaching change due to some "wokeness" and have sputtered from there. Believe me, I'm not bragging on our BB right now. Just pointing out we'd be middle of the AAC even on a down year.
  9. Wouldn't that be nice...unfortunately what matters most is what the media partners want and not us fans. Interestingly enough, we played UNT in the 2022 NIT and ending up losing in OT. I believe ya'll went on to to lose to Virginia in the 2nd round.
  10. 152 after our win over Troy last night. We need to get back to where we were but that'd still be in the top half of the AAC. Do you guys even have a baseball team? Serious question.
  11. Good game MG, ya'll gave us all we could handle. Mestemaker is a stud!
  12. Not sure if visitors are allowed to vote but I voted Yes. Looking forward to seeing ya'll in San Marcos 9/19/2026. That'll be the weekend after we beat nUTSAck 🍻
  13. I don’t care about basketball, this is the football forum. But congrats on being able to recruit bb players in the 3rd ward. You want to talk about politics, State is the only school in TX to have graduated a President (LBJ) and a King (George Strait) 🤠 Houston Junior College doesn’t have a bunch of $ or BMD’s but you keep dreaming buddy.
  14. That's messed up. I wonder if they're paying him to create content/interaction. That's a thing now. We were unhappy with our old board and a couple of fans went and started a new one. It's easier than you think.
  15. In a city of 4 million people, I'd sure hope you'd have at least double the attendance of little ol' San Marcos. The only reason ya'll ever sniffed a 5 star recruit is because E.O. was a momma's boy that didn't want to leave home (like most UH students actually). Nobody was talking smack, UH fans are just low class losers and overall poor sports. The only reason you're in the BIG 12 is your daddy Tillman paid for it. Nobody cares about UH in Houston, it's all about UT, A&M and LSU.
