To be blunt, OSU will win this game. Bank it. Vincent Young is great but he will have to get a passing game to do what he did last year. Texas is losing some big names and will have to rely on VY. With defenses watching every minute of tape from last year. Spy's will be everywhere. Glory to the Orange.

OK just brainstorming here! Tonite, what if I got all dressed up in Longhorn gear. Recorded the fight songs of ut on a boom box. Went to Fry street and starting being obnoxios about how UT was far superior to UNT. I mean in your face type stuff. Getting your but whipped type talk. Maybe that would bring out some of the pride of UNT.... OK bad Idea! It would be great to Upset UT tonite....Will be an uphill battle.

Meyer come to UNT. What are you people smoking? They are #6 in the nation! They had 50,000 come to see the game. They are getting an 8 million BCS payment. Why would he want to come to UNT where the current student body complains about everything that relates to sports. Attendance is at 16,000. We are building, but the best thing we can do is overpay Dickey and keep winning and get to a better conference.

Since it is not up to Alumni if Goals are torn down or not most of you have been there! Keep in mind this is up to the students! If the students want to tear down the goal post then they will do it regardless of what any of you Alums post. I am a 33 year old Alum and I will not be running to tear down any goal post, but by the same token if there is a 18-22 yr old student who has the zeal to do it, then let him! Nothing said on this board will stop it from happening since it is comprised of Alumni for the most part. So just sit back in your season ticket spot and see what the student body does! Maybe they will, maybe they won't! My guess is if we have a good crowd and some leader emerges to get everyone together then it will happen! And who cares if it cost 30,000 let them have their college experience!

Do you really want to put a brand new coach here who would have to rebuild his relationships with all the coaches at Texas High Schools. Does anyone have a better reputation than DD. Poor UT, all of Texas is crying today...Except for me! UT can suck it. When UT gives UNT props I will cheer for their school. UT and A&M still beleive everyone in the state only cherishes their history. This is so far from the truth. I am a UNT hardcore fan and will not stand for any eyes looking down on my college. Until that day when I feel we are as respected. I will not cheer for any Texas college. This attitude may change after Sept 2.
