Herbstreet can choke on a Big 10 watermelon. He is so biased to the BCS it is unreal. If it were up to him there would be 6 conf. and they would play the top 2 of each. He is such an Ohio State , Big 10 homer! I would put no credibility into what he is saying. He is just playing up to the hype of UT/OSU in a couple of weeks. Just remember UNT is up and coming and will in time get better every year. Hey we play the National Champs every year. Our guys always strap it on and I am damn proud of what they have accomplished year after year. (lets put last year behind us)!

Walking in the SuperTarget in Austin wearing my MeanGreen shirt I walked past a nice Woman wearing a UNT cap. I said hello and told her GoMeanGreen. She then told me about her son Robert Peachy #69. She said that they were ready for UT and it would not be as bad as everyone is saying. She said they would win the Sun Belt and the team is really excited. Her son is a red-shirt Frosh and has a chance to start on the O-line. Anyone know this kid?....Stats....?

Great Interview. Although where was this road show. They said there was a Longhorn helmet there. Dickey did say they prepare every game to Win. Even Vs Texas. Had very positive things to say overall. I see a pumped up team alot better than 2-9. I would say take UNT and the points. Book it.

I live in Austin and I think UT sucks...So what! Cedric Benson is a great guy but lets see him play a little bit before we say he is overrated. Let's face it. 2 yrs ago this board was saying Patrick Cobbs was going to take the NFL by storm. Well he was not even drafted. But he might go on to great things..... My point let them play before we dog them out just for being from another Texas School. Did I mention that living in Austin is a nightmare!
