Paying a majority of the income taxes while being held hostage by government in the following areas. Health Insurance: Tort reform needed to help healthcare providers lower costs. Red tape to get basic prescriptions. Banks: Only loans available are at astronomical rates. How can I expand paying over 15% for anything. Did we just not bail them out. Also they get gov $ to loan at o%. They say Bankruptcy is killing them but they are the ones who extended bad credit in the first place. Oil.. Well I don't know as much about this subject but when the 3 big oil companies are the of the largest corporations in the world and they donate to every party well if that is not collusion then I don't know what is..... When you have corporations gouging the little guy at every turn it is hard to go out on your own. I just want a fair shake for the middle class. Our system is set up to be indebted to the banks, healthcare, and there is no alternate transportation besides using gas to get around. Too much goes to making laws and servicing these laws....We don't let large corporations fail. Why? We let small business' fail every day. We don't have the political power to have a say in government. 99/100 people are not entrepreneurs. Some are just intelligent folks who want to have a home, family, work hard! That is not possible in this country anymore. A truck driver and waitress have to live in squalor with limited healthcare and rent. Our money continues to fly out of this country overseas, to Mexico, and in the pockets of the elite .... I think you are ignoring the real middle class....the forgotten class that works at blue collar jobs.

You are right. My apologies to Rudy! F me for making light of 11 people and their loss. That was my intention and Rudy is the only one who picked up on that. Kudos for reading between the lines because that is what I meant when I said this was a problem for BP. What I should of started with is 11 families are morning at the colossal mess up of BP, Halliburton, and Transocean! Maybe their loss can benefit the industry as a whole. I do want more regulation and when you look at the safety records of these companies it is safe to say that they should be the enemies of the state and the lawyers who try to minimize the damage and Fox News who has not done one story on the tragic loss.
