I think it was our last home game of the year on March 1st and it was 100or 150#degrees outside and it was a televised game against Tula who were ranked either 9th or 10 th in the nation and people who needed a ticket were lined up over an hour to buy a ticket outside in the cold, w When I was in school all we had to do to get in was show our student I d and we would go.in to the game. it was standing room only for the game and we were bEhind by 4 points at the half . Yes we will win either 8 or 9 games this year. we will have ,more yards on offense, and ESPN will send us to either New Mexico Bowl, Shreveport, or maybe even Ft.Worth, because with 8 or 9 wins we will get a bigger bowl. Go Green win 9 plus a bowl game.

As I have noted earlier on a post. The announcers praised our team for continuing to fight to the end and not giving up. I am very proud in that aspect we finally have players who fight to the end without quitting. Part of that is due to the coaches.

Ok I know we are looking ahead but below is our home and away 2025 schedule. Home: Lamar,Washington State, South Alabama, Navy, Temple, USF, and UTSA. a very doable 6-1 or a 7-0. Away: Western Michigan, Army,Charlotte, Rice, and UAB. Possible 4- 1 or 5 -0. If we manage to keep our qtr back next year and we improve on Defense maybe 11 -1. Go Green

I remember the night game we had at Apogee when Fine was still here and we kicked a field goal with a few seconds left to win I believe 51- 49. I had my seat in section 208 row 2 and a number of Army fans around me were laughing because we were in our end of the field with about a minute tolay and I told them don't be too overconfident that we already beat UTSA like that and they said no way we would drive the field on them. After we scored and won as they were leaving I just looked and shook my head and one of them said. "Well you were correct". Let's do it again. it is truly amazing before the season some were saying we would be lucky to win 6 games, but now even if we lose to Army we should end up no worse than 7-5 or most likely 8-4. I guarantee if most of us knew them we would end up probably winning 8 games we would have been very pleased. we are having to play numerous freshman and are still looking at 8 wins. We ha,ve Had ap lot of injuries especially to r Running backs and receivers. We should beat UTSA, East Carolina and Temple. Give them a chance. The announcers on ESPN 2 was giving us many accolades considering how we were very outmanned size wise. THink about this even being outweighed we wleRe Doing very good in not giving up. I think we were sacked only once when our quarterback was hurt. Think about this and we should also win 8 or 9 games next year also. Go Green.

I totally agree with some on here stating how bad coach wants to win. We have a very good chance to be 8-4 or 9-3,and I bet none of us thought that was possible at the start of the year. Let's hope we can keep the majority of the team back because next year we have a very favorable schedule with. 7 games at home. Just tighten up anlets enjoy the ride.d

If you had told most of us before the season with as many players that we lost la Year and how all of the transfers that coach got and we would be 5-2 going into the game against Tulane mm ost of us would be ecstatic. we still have the feel we are not good unless we winery game. A big majority of us have big enough eyes to see the improvement over last year. Remember we have a lot of injured players and we are forced to throw young freshman into the fire. The way I look at it is coach has done a good job with what he has. Let's keep the players and our quarterback and add a few more beefy players on defence and with our schedule next year we will be dang good. just check out next year's schedule you might like it.

What upset me with Morris throwing 5 td Passes to 5 different receivers and the yardage he had and he didn't get a helmet sticker from ESPN yet they gave one to a Q B who had 100 yards less to fewer receivers just how's you how biased they are. We should all call ESPN about it.
