How much is North Texas getting paid for this? Hope it’s a lot

He was and this may turn into a case of coaches wanting to keep him fresh for special teams. It looked like he was making calls on punt return and kickoff return. After the spring and fall camp I would guess he would rather get some reps at RB. He was a special teams guy at Kansas State and probably transferred down for potentially more reps at his position.

Wonder how secondary will be?

Shane Porter should make some plays on special teams and RB after the spring he had.

Saw Shane Porter make a long run for TD on Twitter. Looks like the move to RB is good for him.

A name with North Texas ties was Darrell Ray Dickey in 1982.

Will be interesting to see where Shane Porter fits in the mix at RB/WR and special teams this fall. He had a good spring and wasn’t 100% healthy either.

Based on that photo it sure doesn’t look like that will help recruiting!!😂

This is a dilemma that schools like UNT face. Go with an SEC lineman that probably wasn’t playing as much as they thought they should or go with the small school kid who wants to prove they are a D1 player. Tough decision but if I had to choose I think I would go with the small school standout who has a chip on his shoulder.

Heard Shane Porter got reps at RB and ran pretty well. Scored a rushing TD and 1 catching TD.

Are updates from scrimmage today? Heard some RB’s are out and some transfers are stepping up

Spring ball first practice is tomorrow. Hope they have a good spring.

College football keeps changing and changing. Not sure if it is for the best. Conference realignment, NIL, transfer portal going to make things tougher for college coaches. When a HC from a power five conference takes a DC position in the NFL that tells you a lot.

Thanks for the update. I have used the ESPN+ app to watch games so that’s good to hear. Does the athletic department have replays of the games on YouTube?

Are most of the football game’s broadcast on TV? Can they be streamed if not on a network broadcast?
