Massey is really athletic

I’m really impressed by what I’ve seen so far. Offense seems to be more uptempo compared to previous years, but that’s probably because we have more than capable guys that can handle the rock, push the ball, shoot/finish. Definitely see more length and athleticism offensively and defensively. Exciting to watch

I give props to you for having the stomach to watch this defensive display one more time. You truly bleed green.

EM doesn’t have it in him to make these tough calls IMO. We all know the writing is on the wall for Caponi, yet he trots him out there week to week hoping to catch flies with vinegar. The best thing is to replace Caponi with someone else in an interim basis for the rest of the season just to see if something can be jumpstarted. These are real decisions real HCs need to answer. Unfortunately, I think we all know what the answer to this question will be.

As someone mentioned before, our staffers are making hundreds of thousands of dollars (some millions), but we’re ultimately responsible as fans? After we pay them, do they become loyal to UNT? Will they be staying for at least two years? I know NIL is the business nowadays, but not all agree on this. I’d rather spend money on facilities to make sure we have one of the better ones around. That way everyone benefits instead of seeing all that $$$ disappear after one season. If you get great facilities, I’m sure that’s a recruiting tool in itself. Just my thoughts.

Question is, would a DC for a G5 program be more attractive than being a HC for a D-II program? I wonder how much he makes at SFA?

If they’re no going to fire him, do this. Have someone else run the defense and see what kind of result we get. Why wait to see if Odom could possibly be our future DC if you can get a taste to see if he can handle the position.

Maybe we should play more DBs

I don’t think we blame the defense solely. They are a major problem, yes, but the coaching philosophy and ideals entirely put us in a lot of bad situations. We don’t have the recruits and talent to be able to pull things off, yet coaching seems to place us in I’ll-advised conditions often.

He has no right to be calling out fans when he hasn’t done his job well enough yet.

This had to be the dumbest call. If you know you’re in 4-down territory, why run it with your 5th RB on the depth chart on 3rd and long knowing the run game has been terrible all season? EMo really screws himself a lot but is not nearly scrutinized as much since we focus so much on the defense
