    I would just combine both eras since we don’t know when one stops and the other starts.

    There’s always something keeping this team from winning. Hitting the wrong hole, missed tackles, poor execution, poor play selection, ultra aggressiveness. Ultimately, that’s on the HC.

    After the last bye week, we looked terrible against FAU but won. This bye week, we looked terrible against Army and lost. I wonder if EM really knows how to get his team ready after a break? If this is the case, a bowl game isn’t going to look good since there will be a multitude of weeks before the game is played.

    Agreed. Hopefully this conference ($$) can change our fortunes so that we can get to where we need to be and not have to hold on to coaches or ADs that aren’t doing their jobs well.

    Oh I agree. But, it’d be nice if our school was a little more proactive when it comes to improving the e athletic department. Invest in real coaches as opposed to first timers and giving chances to go the cheap route. But, alas…we are who we thought we are

    You mean no one likes the pass plays to WRs at the LOS over and over again?

    I was thinking the same thing about Mosley, but I believe the basketball teams may save his job.

    Should be, but we’re not the type of program to pull the plug on a coach with multiple years on their contract. And, that’s one of the problems…giving an unproven coach 5 years.

    That’s why he’s not a good DC. Keyed on the wrong person instead of their BEST player. SMH

    Army doesn’t have the biggest of guys either, yet they execute exquisitely. We’ve got 300 pounders who can’t block to gain one yard.

    Eric Morris is a mirror image of SL. Just not good enough. When it comes down to it, they JUST can’t execute. Poor philosophy all the way around. He hasn’t done enough to turn this program around. It’s still stuck in the mud where SL left it

    For them to only give up 7 on the board in the 3rd quarter, you would think we’d be winning. Not blaming them for this right now.

    Right now, this game is on the offense. Defense has done what we’re at least hoping for. Offense continues to play like $hit. Unacceptable

    Is it just me or are we going back to the swing passes and hot passes to WRs to let them run after catch? Why not go back to the intermediate routes where we were having success? Everytime we gain good yardage, EMo goes back to calling LOS passes or run plays straight to the OL’s back.

    I have not been impressed by coach Morris’s game plan. Do some screen passes to the RBs if you want to get them going. Running the ball outright has been tough. CMo also needs to use his legs some IMO. That may keep this defense honest.

    Exactly. You don’t pass up points early in the game. Another poor coaching decision that will come back to bite us

    If we can’t pick up one inch, maybe we can pick up from 3 yards out.
