Benedetto have any Texas ties?

In the first half

You see…we make a difference

Perhaps he just didn’t know what he was doing.

It’s only a shitty job because UNT has failed to develop a brand all these years. So the failure has been throughout the institutional level. It’ll take some sort of wizardry or someone selling their soul to get us out of this misery. Any volunteers?

So what’s Jared’s football background? Besides interviewing, how would he know the best candidate to hire? EM definitely needs some input since you don’t want to have division on the team when the HC isn’t on board with the DC hire. Then again, EM had his chance. At this stage in his career, he still needs guidance.

Unless Carthel believes he’s got a good shot of becoming the HC in waiting whatever happens to EM. But, getting a hefty pay raise to run a defense could be pretty convincing. Next question: Is the $ allocated to the recruiters EM spent for worth it? Is it working?

Optics. DB coach which you’d think is vital for running the 3-3-5 for an highly ranked (#1?) P5 team in Iowa St. And, I can also attribute that to the inexperience of EM assembling a coaching staff. That’s my take.

Why is the big white kid not playing?

He can waive his arms faster than them -
Our DC also needs to be able to recruit. Apparently, the last regime only recruited DBs and STILL couldn’t run the 3-3-5.

NVM. Just found a thread of it

Let’s start with Odom as our interim DC. I heard he was also interim DC for USC not long ago? Anyone know what’s his story?

This is my worry of having a younger HC running the show. Do they have the contacts and connections to be able to hire experienced coaches? And, will these experienced potential DCs believe in EM and his style knowing they potentially could be hung out to dry with all the aggressive nature of Morris’s playcalling? Also, will they realize EM could be on the hot seat, so their time could be limited? Lots of things to unpack going to a school constantly underperforming year after year.

I want Coach Ed Gennero to run the show. Also, I hope we could find an old farm boy and a science teacher with one year of eligibility left to lead the team.

Is this what an “offensive genius” looks like?

Yeah, he’s standing on the sideline trying to coach the rest of the team. -
Maybe someone needs to inform EM the forward pass has been invented.
-
This is a major hire for the program. No more giving GA’s their first opportunity as position coaches. We need a lead dog in the pack since we’re just chasing our tails.
-
Not to make major decisions, no. However, to get a sense for how supporters are feeling…yes.

I think both EM and Mosley are feeling the backlash from everybody. There has to be someone aware of this forum under Mosley reporting back to get the pulse. I mean they’re not gonna go ask students how things are. I agree 100% about the firing, but this no way clears EM. This is still his team and his decisions that have us where we are. Keep that seat HOT!

***OFFICIAL UNT vs. UTSA IN-GAME DISCUSSION***

Probably with cleats on -
Now we have the last two games to see how they mesh with Odom. They should’ve given him a little longer chance. But, hey, I’ll take it.
-
I was not aware. Thanks
-
And this would be against an FCS opponent.

Or this soft OL. And, where has DT gone? If Morris isn’t able to scheme plays for him, we’re definitely cooked. Enough of this spreading the ball around to other WRs. Nobody can hold a cup to DT. If he’s being schemed out defensively, then that’s another failure by Eric Morris to not motion him or flip where he lines up. If the philosophy continues to spread the ball to any Joe out there, that’s why we’re losing on offense.
