  1. Don’t know about you guys, but I think Aaron Scott is playing soft. Every time he drives to the basket, he doesn’t dip his shoulder to get leverage. Instead, he gets mirrored and just kicks it back out. Need more from him…lot more.
  2. Kinda like his game
  3. Rumor has it we may be going to a 2-4-5 or 1-5-5 formation
  4. Caponi should be out there recruiting his guys hard. Can’t blame Morris solely on this problem. Offensive players will look at the air raid offense and the results last year and would be enticed to come. The defense? Different story
  5. I really can’t argue about any defensive player from last year wanting to transfer. A major problem were the safeties coming down to help in run support. Either they were out of position, cut off or just missed tackles.
  6. Maybe he can “rob” the other team of TDs. *snare drum: badum bum
  7. You gotta give credit to TSU as far as recruiting goes. I don’t know what they’re doing, but to be able to convince two P5 QBs to come gets a hat tip from me.
  8. Watched a little of Mooney’s clips on YouTube. He looked good. Throws a really nice ball and looks quite confident when passing. Then again, they’re highlights, but you can see the promise
  9. Is this the Oregon LB/DE transfer or are we referring to someone else?
  10. By UNT standards, I would consider getting a hometown, P5 starting QB with good production in Chandler Morris a big name. No, we won’t attract the Caleb Williams type QB, but I’m sure if you ask any football fans of the AAC, they would know or have heard of Chandler Morris.
  11. Honestly, I didn’t know much of Pavia until the mentions from this forum. His intangibles definitely sound intriguing with the production to match. I guess the bright side is that we would have Chandler Morris, potentially, for two years.
  12. Who did you have in mind that we could’ve gotten in your opinion?
  13. Next QB transfer announcement…Stone Earle
  14. Any news on the P5 DL that visited? Name?
  15. Wasn’t Seals also in the transfer portal?
  16. I believe having a big name transfer qb come to UNT may open the transfer door even wider. And, I don’t mean just for the offense. When others look at the rosters to see who they can play with, having a name that stands could leave an impression. If he’s good enough to transfer here, why not me mentality
  17. This guy actually played at a P5 program…and started multiple years. How some are questioning this move is beyond me. Just be happy he chose to play here instead of another school. If he was the #1 target for Eric Morris, I’m certain he’ll put QB Morris’s talents on display this season. Just wondering…who would’ve been the choice between the Vanderbilt QB Seals and TCU Morris? Mine is Morris.
  18. Definitely worth the wait. Seems as though we’ve solidified ourselves for another year of elite offensive production. Just imagine, CM had similar stats to Rogers while playing in the Big XII. Just imagine now. Jumping the gun, yes…but I like this move.
  19. I really would’ve liked to have another qb on board besides the ones we have. I agree that Morris has a knack for finding QBs, but the system still needs to be learned, rapport needs to be made with receivers/TEs, a sense of feel with the OL needs to be made. These are the things that can get the team started quickly out of the gate. I know Stone won the starting gig last year, but I just can’t get excited with him. Hope he proves me wrong, but we just have to wait til after Spring. Concern level @ 6.5
