3-3-5 shows up and low and behold, we can’t stop the run. Are those things correlated?

OL needs to do a better job early on. Seems like we get handled early and improve as the game goes on. Everybody needs to do their jobs to give us a competitive chance.

This is why we moved to the AAC. We have to take advantage of this. What a golden opportunity.

Well I hope our preparation will be better than our open week before FAU.

DT is a stud. He’s WR #1 no doubt about it. This should be his stat line weekly.

Especially next season when CMo is still around…hopefully.

And it also seems as if they recruit a ton of DBs compared to anyone in the front seven. That has to change.

The 3-3-5 is suppose to confuse the QB and have coverage throughout the field. However, it appeared this is where their QB flourished. He exposed the middle way too often and exposed how soft our coverage was. I don’t know how many times we have to see that this garbage doesn’t work for us. That’s on coaching trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Our personnel isn’t fit for this defense, yet they continue to sneak it in. We’re the only air raid team in the conference, which this defense is supposedly best against.

Also winning in unfavorable weather, having to make a defensive stand and coming back for a game winning drive. Hopefully, they all can grow from this. It easily could’ve been another Tech-type result, but they fought through it all.

What a fantastic finish and win! Definitely an ugly win, but a win nonetheless. I’ve learned from the Tech game to appreciate this. GMG! Light The Tower! Drink the kool-aid!
