Hate to break it to you, but this isn’t the only time the defense has given up a huge play the past two years. It’s more of a common occurrence.

All I know is with all these AAC coaches being fired, we better be dipping our toes into recruiting some of their players. Could be a lot of movement going on…possibly inter conference even.

Ross makes line changes like hockey. He must want everyone to go all out every shift, and that’s why he substitutes so frequently. This was my complaint last year also. Hate it coz it’s hard to get a rhythm when you’re only playing 5mins at a time. Also, enough dumping the ball to Sissoko for the backdown offense. It’s painful to watch.

We’re getting a taste of our own medicine. Hard to get a good, clean shot. And, when we’re open, we’re missing the shots from guys we hope to carry us. The turnovers have killed us.

Why? McNeese is a good team despite their record. If it doesn’t look good, it’s because of our offensive scheme.

Down 10 against a defensive team like McNeese has to feel like a 20pt lead. Guys are pressing more now. No flow to the offense.

Geez Sisoko is just so hard to watch. He just lacks the skills to be effective. I groan every time I see him trying to back down the defender.

Atin Wright, our big acquisition of you can call it that, has been terrible the past two games. Just can’t make his shots. If Ross wants to throw the ball down the blocks, why not put Vice or Newell down there. At least they have some semblance of an offensive game. You get some points down low, you’ll open things up on the perimeter.

It’s only a shitty job because UNT has failed to develop a brand all these years. So the failure has been throughout the institutional level. It’ll take some sort of wizardry or someone selling their soul to get us out of this misery. Any volunteers?

So what’s Jared’s football background? Besides interviewing, how would he know the best candidate to hire? EM definitely needs some input since you don’t want to have division on the team when the HC isn’t on board with the DC hire. Then again, EM had his chance. At this stage in his career, he still needs guidance.

Unless Carthel believes he’s got a good shot of becoming the HC in waiting whatever happens to EM. But, getting a hefty pay raise to run a defense could be pretty convincing. Next question: Is the $ allocated to the recruiters EM spent for worth it? Is it working?

Optics. DB coach which you’d think is vital for running the 3-3-5 for an highly ranked (#1?) P5 team in Iowa St. And, I can also attribute that to the inexperience of EM assembling a coaching staff. That’s my take.
