Are we confident in our young kicker, though? I remember the one game EM tried to take the 3 points and our K missed it. Seems like nothing is given with this team. IIRC, he was rated as a pretty good kicker, but I don’t know what happened.

When do we get one?

All I know is, if you fix the OL, the running game will take care of itself. They seem to have targeted the trenches this time around, and I’m loving it. Not only have we added beef, they’ve had some playing time at their respective colleges. If it all works out, your running game just got better.

I was just wondering what our OL would look like after the portal. I do like the experience and the beef we’ve added. I was so hopeful with the OL who transferred here last year, but they just never panned out. I’m snake bit from that. That’s why I would like to reserve my optimism until at least fall camp. However, I am quite intrigued at the moment.

Can’t have zeroes for Wright and Jossell. You just can’t.

Turnovers are killing us. Credit to their pressure. So far, we haven’t been able to handle it.

Good thing I can say about sissoko is he’s well coached. What he’s lacking in skill, he is very fundamentally sound defensively. He rarely reaches or goes block hunting. He guards the paint, gets big and uses his strength to battle down low.

Sissoko with the ball in his hands late in the shot clock is a terrible formula to win. Again, Massey putting us in a bad situation.

Massey needs to settle down. He’s played out of control trying to do too much.

Our guards are wilting under the pressure. They need to slow down and not rush everything.

I preferred the win instead of coming up short. We had plenty of those already.

I’m glad for the early success, but we all need to pump the brakes a bit.
