  1. He was told he was not going to be the starter. So he had to find a place to play or be the third string QB again for his last year.
  2. Jimerson will be a receiver at UNT. At 5’8 165 pounds not playing QB.
  3. So if he’s like Chandler Morris we’re good with another one and done quarterback leading us to a 6-6 record? There’s not a point of any high school quarterbacks ever signing with UNT. It seems like we’re just gonna go get a one and done quarterback that leads us to a 5-7 record or 6-6 record. This is our future.
  4. A third string quarterback from Miami that’s on his sixth year of college football. I’ll save the judgment until we see him in spring ball.
  5. Have they started practicing for the bowl game yet?
  6. This year we had 3 state champions in the QB room. Chandler, Cash and Grant. Hopefully Jimerson can add to this list.
  7. In two years under Morris we have had 6 QB's enter the portal and leave. No one has been around for more than a year.
  8. He didn't start his junior year. He was a back up that threw 13 passes.
  9. He was not the starter his junior year. He threw 13 passes as a backup. And his senior year he threw 17 passes as a backup. He was the starting punter in high school.
  10. Mestemaker has been the back up, but does he really give us the best chance to win? Cash showed what he could do in the spring game. He also won a state championship in high school and statistically one of the top QB's career wise to play in Texas HS football. Mestemaker has never started a game at QB in his life.
  11. Should move to receiver and replace the loss of DT next season. Listed at 5'9" 165 lbs. Which means he is 5'8" 160. Can't see him playing QB at this level.
  12. I think he received $50,000. Just a chance to go possibly play at the G4 level in his last year. Didn't work out great.
  13. Everyone is going to transfer. We probably will not even have enough to play in a bowl game.
  14. Have we thought that maybe he is just not that good against average to above average teams? Threw a pick to end our chances against Memphis. Threw two picks that cost us the Army game. And threw two picks that cost us the UTSA game. There is a reason it didn't work out for him at okla and TCU. Hopefully we can beat the two inferior teams we have left on our schedule.
  15. He will be great at slot receiver. Too small to play college QB.
