  1. That’s a brutal out clause!
  2. It’s just another opportunity for us to showcase one of the best unt coaches to ever wear the uniform, The Great Ross Hodge!
  3. Yeah but from what I can tell, Oregon State is decent but not great, Washington State, Cal and Stanford are pretty crappy if you go off the Pac 12 standings from last year. I would rather us land some Mountain West squads as some of those schools are dudes in hoops. SDSU, USU Boise and Nevada are all pretty salty.
  4. I know some are concerned about them leaving for football but I don't think they move the needle that much in basketball. I would much rather plan Memphis and FAU from a power of schedule perspective. Let them hit the road if they want. No big loss.
  5. Good stuff!
  6. Why are we going to San Jose first? That's BS Jarod!
  7. I was thinking about this, and wondered where everyone was on this. To me, facilities are part of the quality of life that student athletes have for the 4-6 years they are with the program. I know some schools will do both but for me it seems like building better facilities will benefit more players and the university over a longer period of time.
  8. Bingo and for the record they wanted McCollum way more than Lugo. Much bigger upside. The only downside to McCollum and why he didn't have more early offers was his level of competition at CS. They are not 6A and that makes him more of a risk.
  9. You don't understand recruiting. This kid is heating up meaning he is getting invites to Texas A&M camps by Bobby Petrino and other big schools are starting to take interest. He is about to blow up and we may be luck to hold onto him. Recruiting is all about timing. You cannot teach 6-4 with big arm out of high school. Good pickup.
  10. Just wish we could be better at sniffing out who is just using us.
  11. He has great potential; but he’s not quite there yet.
  12. I can't really speak to football, but in terms of basketball I am seeing a big step up with this new group.
  13. Dude needs to just keep his big trap shut if you ask me.
  14. The good news for us is overall the travel in the American seems pretty reasonable, besides the occasional road trips to Annapolis, Philly and Greenville.
  15. We saw RV at Barley and Board just last weekend. Shook our hands and gave us a go mean green.
  16. Amazing pick up. Here are the other transfers we have landed in this stellar class: Guard John Buggs: 11 ppg, .40 3P% at nUTSAck Guard Jason Edwards: JUCO All-American 22 ppg Forward Robert Allen: 16.5 mpg at Missississpi Guard CJ Noland: 2022 All Big-12 Freshman team OU transfer Big time signing class.

  18. You make a valid point. +1

  20. Coach Randle is originally from Houston and we think he will clean up in recruiting there. He played guard for Madison in 2007-09. Those teams weren't tall but super athletic and played fast. Another up-tempo hiring.
