Unfortunately the answer is yes. But upsets happen. The proverbial “if X played Y 10 times, then they would win 9” is always in play. The loss by the better team can happen at anytime during the “10 games”. It could happen on Friday.

Hoos feelings? What are you talking about? A cool handshake?? They barely acknowledged each other - after a WIN. Dig? It was on the broadcast. I have stated all season that they do not like each other. I saw it in their body language early in the season. This is not a Rubin doesn’t like Jason thing or a Jason doesn’t like Rubin thing. It is clear as day that they do not like each other. CRH knows it too. I only went back to watch the end because a poster stated how the announcer sucked at the end. Another poster stated that the play by play guys said something about the last possession. If the posters never mentioned the end of the broadcast then I miss it. The conspiracy theories are too much. How about you dig (too funny) into CRH’s rotations. When one sits, the other subs him. I give CRH credit for attempting to manage it by giving each “his time on the floor alone”. Am I the only person that wonders why this team is not as good as expected? This team was losing games before conference play. I wanted to know, so I paid attention to what I was watching. It was evident early in the season and it is on full display at the end. Impossible for this team to have any success when guys don’t like playing together. And as a former player, we “see” the game differently. A player (former player) will see things that the average (never played before) person doesn’t see. It’s not a “I’m better” spiel, we just know that there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes and right in front of you that the normal person doesn’t see. I actually thought I was providing insight. I value being shown things that I don’t know. Maybe, the next time you watch this team play, you will pick up on it. If nothing else, it may explain why the results are what they are.

The Giants “got healthy” at season’s end. Unless Tulane “gets healthy” (which they were fully both games), then I don’t see the comparison. 0-3

Not if you are just flat out better than that team. Tulane would need to overcome a 14 point loss without Rubin and a 14 point loss with Rubin. Wow - you can’t make this stuff up even if one tried.

Edwards was never a part of my initial comment regarding the cherry picked stat. I do believe it is false because it misrepresents the duo. That misrepresentation serves no one aside providing false “hope”. The man made stat does not diminish the value of Edwards because it didn’t pertain to him. Your inquiry should be as to why he was mentioned because the original poster nor I mentioned him. The post nor my comment had zero to do with Edwards. It was the poster that mentioned him that lit the flame. Classic throw the brick, then hide your hand. Then you get the pile on. But no one ever refutes the facts that I present. Opinions and insults, but never facts. Facts - the team record (while playing a higher SOS) without Rubin is the same as with Rubin (while playing a lower SOS).

All man made, cherry picked stats are for those that can’t compete with real stats. Everyone doesn’t deserve a ribbon. Earn it. A-Scott leads the AAC in fouls. Rubin barely played. This man made stat needs to be fact checked. 2 studs surrounded by bums, yet neither can stay on the court. Will anyone other than me stand up for the bums?
