  1. Q dad I would like to thank UNT fans who have been very supportive of my son as a player and coach . Thanks to coach Littrell for believing in Quinn as a player and coach . Thanks to coach Morris who gave Quinn a chance to continue his coaching career at UNT . Quinn accepted the QB position at UC Davis . I know people do not believe that he did a good job at coaching the QBs but if you actually look at the stats -Aune made a great improvement in his development over the past 3 years . Quinn got to run the QB room as a GA when Tate step down -after the false allegations were made. Tate was a great coach that taught Quinn a lot of offense in his short time at UNT . Quinn went to TE in his second year as a GA and learned a lot of football from coach Mayes at that position . Last season Quinn was moved back to QB position to help the QBs develop under coach Bloesch . If you look at Aune footwork and throwing motion he was a much better player between year 2 and 3 - he now could now throw off the run - his mechanics were much better . Aune got a lot of harsh criticism of his play but not all those interceptions were his fault . Q was considered one of the brightest and smartest coaches in the room . I’m his sad but I believe he has a great future ahead of him . He bleeds green as much as anyone on this board . He has put in 10 years of his life into this program and wishes the new staff much success . He had a interview with coach Hawkins at UCDavis and he blew them away with what he knew about offenses . The kid is as smart as they come - he has 4 degrees from UNT and could easily have been a doctor but chose to be a coach . Hopefully one day he will come back and be able to coach again at UNT . Thanks to everyone and the community who supported him . Good Luck next year as Quinn and I will be following you guys . Go Mean Green
