  1. Agreed, here’s to hoping the transfer portal gets hit hard for an improved D next window. We had a tough schedule, I have hope this staff and team improve (shorter leash for Caponi obviously). If Morris can step it up and finish with 6-7 wins or better and a bowl win in the next two years that would be a great place to be in the AAC.
  2. If you go back to the post from when Sides committed it’s just a bunch of trashing on his offer list being mostly D2 schools… not a bad freshman year for the local guy. With him and Maclin our WR core looks just fine without Shorter
  3. To be fair, their schedule is absolutely brutal (they play a ranked team like every week), and besides Oregon I believe they've been in every game down to the wire
  4. I still think they'll be in it this year but I'm missing Huntsberry's finishing at the net and TP's ability to hit game winning shots in these two games
  5. Scott just missed too much this game, paint presence has been bad. Not sure what happened to Sissoko, looks nothing like last year
  6. I can still root for North Texas as my team while simultaneously rooting for TP in his final year. He led us to debatably our best basketball accomplishment ever.
  7. To be fair, they won’t be an AAC team much longer anyway
  8. How is it that we know Morris is the wrong hire when he had less than a full offseason to build? It seems lost in these debates that our competition this year is significantly more difficult than any year in CUSA, Seth isn’t doing any better here. Resources are higher and more money is spent but it takes time to build. We don’t get Rogers at qb if not for Morris. Defense is terrible and needs to improve but we can’t really decide Morris was a terrible hire when he hasn’t time to build. The one criticism that makes sense is transfer portal based but not sure how viable that is without major NIL or a famous head coach (there aren’t a lot to go around, wish we could pull one but we don’t know if it was attempted so can’t know if we should be mad). I want actual wins but I feel there is plenty of promise in this season. Seth got blown out in ever major game and opponent he faced (besides the UTSA ranked game but whatever) and we have been in games with those teams this year under Morris.
  9. It was nice but as a Texan it was pretty dang cold to me haha, enjoyed the game though
  10. Our D line seems to be weak, does having more of them really fix the issue?
  11. I like what I’ve seen out of Horton, was burns returning punts earlier? Just horton on every return pls
  12. Stone has not been the problem. He got the start for a reason
  13. Apparently we just can’t tackle anyone, they aren’t finishing tackles when we have them stopped
  14. They should’ve just had two long passing TDs if the qb wasn’t bad too…
  15. Good stop, now if we can just stop giving up the big play. Looking competitive
  16. Man you stole mine
  17. It is in two days haha
  18. It is kind of wild how hard they make it. I just graduated but my fiancé is finishing up this year. We go to as many games as we can, We had a bunch of issues with passwords and the logins being different and difficult to get into last year and it's a lot of links to click through. We have it down now and it's not like we aren't grateful but if you want students in seats you want the process to be easy and seamless. Any amount of friction can lose you attendance for students who aren't yet big fans.
  19. Inject designed runs to Horton into my veins, he is electric in space. I am also very excited to watch this new offense, Aune wasn’t as bad as some think but he certainly wasn’t a QB that takes you far
  20. I can get on board with this and your last comment, especially the part about not bombing big games. If we can do that then I’ll think we’re on the right trajectory in a legit conference
  21. Were you majorly disappointed year after year the past 20 years? I’m just hoping they have a season that shows us improvement from the last regime and I would take a winning season as a great sign. I’ll raise expectations when they show up like the basketball team has, until then I see no reason to expect greatness and piss myself off when they aren’t that good.
